Adebayor, what's the score? Adebayor, what's the score? Adebayor, what's the score? Adebayor, what's the score?
If I weren't so damn skeptical, I'd get myself a Giroud jersey already. KEEP THE FAITH! |
Giroud seems to have found form lately but quite honestly, i've been impressed by how well Theo has been playing, he used to disappear for long stretches, have a good game and then disappear for weeks at a time, this year he seems to be contributing with both goals and assists, him and Giroud have combined a few times already. They need to get his fvcking contract situation figured out. And if he goes, we better have a like for like replacement, I wouldnt mind seeing Schurrle in an Arsenal shirt, or if like the reports say, Sterling from Lpool, kid is young and you can already see the talent.

Sterling could fit in well @ Arsenal. What reasons could push Walcott to play for the other Red team .?.. |
are you two really falling into the sterling bandwagon? 'englands next big thing'? the dude barely has half the brain theo has, and theo is finally using his! we lose theo, we earn the title 'arsenal finishing club'.
|
Sterling. Sweet, another prospect to field when the prospect in whom so much time was invested is finally starting to consistently come good.
In other news, Forza Juve! |
Nordsjaelland 2-5 Shakhtar... Not that it's a big game to watch, but Luiz Adriano's goal is just ungraceful... And Shakhtar's defenders refused to return a favor to Nordsjaelland afterwards just made things worse...

Can't see it, the video was already taken down.
I did see our goals today though and Poldi's was sweet. |
^ ^ Oh yeah . . . reminded me of RVP's goal last year ( i believe Song provided the assist that time)
|
Wow! What an overhead kick goal from Mexes outside the box! Just like a repreat of Ibra's goal from last week! Forza Milan!!!

Yes, very disrespectful and completely against the fair play standards. Karma is a bitch though. It lies dormant, but he just poked the beast. |

^^ Nice goals!
|
I love Podolski's "ow ow ouch" celebration after that goal. Too hot to handle.

repost, but it bewilders me, why isn't the podolski song sung at the emirates?
lu lu lu, lukas podolski! |
Was Podolski injured today ? or why didn't he feature vs. Everton today ?
|
I believe he was injured.
However, we are looking more and more dreadful each game. And with UEFA looking to scrap the Europa league next year, we need to make sure we get the CL spot, or win it this time 'round. |
arseblog said it fairly, in isolation a point against Everton isn't bad. we are desperately shorn of backups, however; there is no depth beyond our starting XI. wenger doesn't need major talent in a single spot in january, but he does need role players to provide some challenge to the current first team starters, and to provide cover. midfield and left back i think, assuming that sagna stays.
btw - see ya, theo. |
As a fan, it was pretty frustrating to watch as we kept giving the ball away cheaply and didn't score a 2nd goal. Of course, AW says a draw was a "good result" in terms of the players showing good spirit :shakes head:
In my eyes, their performance wasn't good enough. I think we should have won. Everton isn't as good as their place in the table would suggest. Something i've noticed that's missing is the beautiful, flowing pass game we used to use to score goals from w/in the opposition's penalty box . . . Maybe that was lost when our best players kept leaving the team over the past couple years. |
weeee are shiiiiiiiiiiiite
|
I guess Gooners are beginning to know what it feels like to support a mediocre, mid-table team, now. . . :shakes head: Wow
|
Yeah.
I never made fun of Liverpool for it, but I do know how they feel now. It's a sad feeling. |
Oh well, us Milan too... mid-table team...:shakes head: I feel your pain.

Played with weakened side and lost 2-1 in Greece. Oh well.
Shalke/Montpellier drew 1-1. |
Montpelier did their part, but we failed in getting first. Oh well.
Meade looks alright. Chamakh deserves a bench spot by pure virtue of the rest of the bench being utter, utter SH*T. |

It was good seeing Chamakh and Squillaci play again. Vermaelen and Sczesny had a good game. |
Bayern.

Celtic are through!

Some luck helped Arsenal win today (!) . .

Nice dive by Cazorla. Had to leave before half-time, so I didn't get to see the second PK. Was it just as bad?
|
The 2nd one was legitimate . . . Arteta drilled it right down the middle like the first one.
|
Down 1-0 to Bradford.
Sad state of affairs right now. Still a little over a half to go to climb back into it, but man... we shouldn't even have let it get this bad. |
