Serbia's triple dummy football corner kick routine goal

hilariously awesome.

Haboob 10-03-2012 10:22 AM

:icon18: That's funny just to even think something like that up!

3-1 Arsenal FT.

Ramsey seals it. We aren't going to even have a chance to win the CL if we continue to play like this though. Yes, we got the result, but it wasn't very convincing vs. a weaker Olympiakos side.

Giroud is the almost king when it comes to scoring, lol. He was close a few times today.

Haboob 10-03-2012 03:44 PM

1-1 City v. Dortmund. City got a BS PK towards then end from what I'm reading on twitter.

Haboob 10-03-2012 04:33 PM

Oh yes, and by the way - Ramsey scored, so that means that someone famous will be dead soon.

His history in case you didn't know:

Dortmund were absolutely robbed. Joe Hart deserves a 9839853985098350982383 GBP raise after that match.

Did he just fall on it wrong?

Yes. It was so gross. It still randomly pops in my head & I'm all, "NOPE NOPE NOPE."

It was on par with Eduardo/ Ramsey. I suppose I'd blocked those out. Thanks.

:(

phelan 10-04-2012 05:23 PM

LOL spurs.

LOL liverpool.

cow - nobody shows puyol's, but they show julian draxler's wrist after the schalke game against montpelier...OMFG EW

this week as a bad week to be a soccer player.

cow 10-05-2012 07:20 AM

I missed that one. I won't be seeking it out.

:-/ bad week indeed

cow 10-06-2012 09:50 AM

This is the first weekend this season I've had to just sit & watch matches & it's just occurred to me that BeIn does not carry the Bundesliga. What a load of crap!

I want to watch BVB.

Haboob 10-06-2012 12:51 PM

Giroud gets his first PL goal! Bad news is, is that it was to bring us level with West Ham. :ugh2:

Champions League hangover? :eekdance:

Okay, we turned it back on now.

Goals from Walcott and a beauty by Cazorla have given us a 1-3 lead with a few minutes left... still time for more boys! :happydance:

fvcking CRACKER from Santi, no spin on that ball whatsoever. I'm just wondering what kind of kicking technique he uses, the guy hits bombs every single time he meets the ball from distance, i've been a forward my whole life and even I cant hit them on a rope every time. Maybe its the boots?

We grinded out the result, overall, I thought our performance could have been better, wayward balls, sloppy passes, unnecessary long balls... Anyways, it was great to see the frenchman get on the sheet and break his shooting duck, hopefully there will be more to follow. Walcott needs a damn contract extension. Great win today, should have had Chelski last week, that game pissed me off man.

Red370 10-06-2012 06:02 PM

btw, you boys think its safe to order a Santi kit? or is Barca going to claim DNA dibs and strip him from us next year?

I would hope it is, but I've made a decision to never order a kit w/a name of a current player - if it's going to have a name, it's going to be Henry, Bergkamp, Pires, etc. Legends.

Red370 10-06-2012 10:53 PM

I'm all about supporting current players, I have this seasons kit with Jacky on it, of all the Arsenal players, he is the only one I actually see retiring in the Red and White.

Red370 10-06-2012 10:56 PM

well, maybe Rambo...

I'm all about it too, but I've been let down in the past.

Though, I still have a Walcott one (yeah...) and it looks like that's going to be trash soon too. :shakes head:

I DVR'd the match and am watching it again (world of a difference on 55" vs. 4"). :icon17:

phelan 10-07-2012 02:53 PM

is it safe to get a giroud jersey yet? :p

edit: mertesacker? merteSWAGGER.

phelan 10-08-2012 12:26 PM

cow 10-08-2012 01:29 PM

None of these are very good.

"Phantasmagorical" if you want a real word sounds pretty fanciful, or he's just too much for words and you can only describe him with an orgasmic scream.

cow 10-08-2012 02:04 PM

It sounds so good I looked up its meaning, only to find out it didn't mean anything I wanted it to mean.

Oh well. Still a neat sounding word.

Reminds me of "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm."

The US is on to the final round of qualifying, beating Guatemala 3-1. We looked much better after we poorly conceded a 4' goal to Ruiz.

Jamaica won 4-1, knocking Guatemala out too.
