Who are we talking about?

True to my word - just bought an Everton jersey.

lol, so when i watched the game yesterday my little brother came home and saw the game was on btw MANURE and Everton. he decides to ask me (knowing i'm a Gunner) "so [hewhoshallnotbenamed] plays for Juventus now?"

i responded with "who?" and this repeated like three times. finally my brother gives up and says "i'll just google it"

at that moment, [hewhoshallnotbenamed] is introduced to the game to get the red c*nts back level with everton.

first words out of my non-Gooner brother: "wow what a f*cking tool."

i tossed him one of my arsenal jerseys out of my closet in appreciation :rofl2:

Arsenal sign Nuri Sahin | Mail Online

don't like arshavin leaving. he looked lively, and slimmer, in the first game.

reading will feel hard done by, cahill's shot from 35 was nice, but a top flight goalkeeper would paw that away, and 3rd goal..eh.

I like that they took the time to shorten & then lengthen the shorts.

hmm... true statement, true statement.

In other news, I'm highly considering buying a Cazorla kit, but i'm scared shytless he's gonna hate the rain and jet back to the land of sun and happiness... (you know who i'm referencing here if you're a gooner).

fvcking Reyes, yes, I have the anniversary edition long sleeve kit with his name on the back.

phelan 08-24-2012 01:53 PM

i'd rather reyes than judas van c*ntie's 08/09 kit i have.

cow 08-24-2012 01:53 PM

Don't jinx it, man!

Reyes was about six years younger when he got to AFC. Perhaps/ hopefully Cazorla will be more mature (& better).

phelan 08-24-2012 03:32 PM

out of stock on everton jerseys...needed to switch order...

i now have an arsenal away jersey

Giroud was tryin' to show off, but no luck. I like how Podolski charges ahead at players . . haha

phelan 08-30-2012 03:44 PM

real Madrid, Manchester city, Ajax, and borussia Dortmund in one group of death. WOW.

arsenal, Montpelier, olympiakos, and schalke. will be disappointed if we do not at least advance.

once again Manchester united get off easy...galatasaray cluj and braga...

blue660r01 09-01-2012 06:47 AM

Man U won't win ish anyways.

bigsix 09-01-2012 10:22 PM

score predictions for Arsenal vs. Liverpool ?

I'll say Three-One.

Wait, that's thinking V.Persie's still on the team...

Two-One late goal by Walcott for the win.

if sczczesny plays 2-0 to the reds. Suarez and borini.

if mannone plays 5-0 to the reds. own goal by jenkinson, mannone throes it into the net, and some form of a Suarez hat trick.

Haboob 09-02-2012 07:53 AM

Looks like we just don't want to score. Can't tell if it's Diaby (just because he's Diaby) or Poldi/Giroud are not quite game ready?

We look pretty sad to watch.

Reverse psychology.

I'll take credit for Poldi scoring due to my skills.

One nil to The Arsenal! :excited:

Haboob 09-02-2012 09:35 AM

0-2 win with Poldi and Santi getting the goals.

We didn't look all that spectacular and were out played by Liverpool, but the only stat that counts is the score, and we won that.

13th to 7th.

Now for Southampton to get passed Man U.

Yeah, strangely Liverpool were the better team . . . . . but Arsenal scored 2 nice goals. Hopefully Giroud will score next game's goals

phelan 09-02-2012 08:13 PM

Giroud really needs to stop cutting at such a sharp angle. He doesn't have the footwork to get the shot on target afterwards. But I admire his work rate, he was motoring for the full 90 minutes.

Very interesting that Theo did not get on when AOC cramped up.

But yes this was very atypical of Arsenal, Liverpool played beautifully (except Stevie G...fish out of water performance in this squad), but we nicked two counter-attack goals. Podolski looked worlds better after he scored, and Cazorla? Midfield maestro; feels good to see someone so accomplished with the ball in the squad again. Just makes me miss Fabregas a little.

On to the stupid international break!

bigsix 09-03-2012 09:58 AM

It's good we still have Spanish midfielders in the squad, though ( Cazorla + Arteta ).

I like Spanish style of passing/movement...

Giroud def. needs time to gel w/ the rest of the team. Podolski less so.

phelan 09-04-2012 02:53 PM

Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas fed up with being subbed for - ESPNFC

How did Cesc NOT see this coming :rofl2:

In other news though - did Alex Song seriously, SERIOUSLY just push Iniesta out of the starting lineup for Barca?!?!?!!?!?!?????? WTF

When an Arsenal match isn't on FSC, I go downtown (Denver) to a British Pub to watch. You might try to find a place similar that will have all the games playing. There are a number of channels that play premier league + other Euro leagues.
