Apparently (according to the friend) It was a supercar caravan. The driver spun out (lost control) trying to cross the median and was hit by the Nissan. The nissan driver was apparently friends with the lambo driver.

But seriously, none of this adds up. That GTR must have been speeding pretty hard or vice versa. Cars do not look like that after impacting at 60mph...

Sucks regardless though. Hate to see people go out like that. Especially car enthusiasts.
Mr&Mrs, nepali and FPenvy like this.

it is very sad indeed! but the truth is that it seems nearly iompossible to have that type of damage from a 60mph crash, and about the 120mph because it was a head on crash.. meaning 60mph+60mph = 120mph its not true if both car are doing 60mph and crash head on the impact stays the same 60mph its like hitting a wall or something, this myth was busted in mythbusters

Exactly what I was thinking. This cannot be a "low-speed" crash.

Uh yeah debris flew 1000 feet. It was a "slow speed" crash. ...Not

To lose control of AWD car with stability control you have to be moving very fast. Looks like car jumped and planted after intial contact. Probably snapped their backs.

While sad I suspect it was classic example of someone driving far beyond their capability on the street.
