Both Suzuki and Mitsubishi have truly failed in US market. They never really found sustainable niche. Being cheaper Honda or Toyota isn't sustainable strategy. Evo was about only thing Mitsubishi did well but they never really capitalized on that cars success. And never did anything to grow brand.

Thats very true... But, this country without the Evo would lose an important entry in the sports car arena. The Evo is highly underrated as a AWD sport entry. I don't want to see it go. Suzuki, There motorcycles do damage here but there cars, they just don't compete well compared to other Asian brands. |
