I have a friend who has a Z06, that is one bad *** @#$%ing car, without a doubt one that demands full attention all the time.

Well I think the Z06 with the Z07 package is faster than the ZR1 around some road courses. I may be wrong about this, but I think I saw it somewhere. I think it's because it has all the suspension and braking bits of the ZR1, but is lighter in weight.

Camaro is also slated to move to smaller/lighter GM Alpha platform in 2014. Shared with new smaller Caddilac sports coupe. Same size as. A BMW 3 series. Camaro will have even shorter wheelbase according to industry rags. Should be interesting . But one thing for sure hold onto your big ole "wallowing" solid axle Mustangs as this will be end of an era. They are bound for classic status.

Everyone is downsizing in 2014/2015.

Mine doesn't wallow, so I guess I should pick up a 13 Gt500.

I drove my friend's Audi RS-4 (2010 I think? It's a newer one) Power is very strong but honestly, what stood out is the handling. I asked her if I could drive it directly to Summit Point and she said NO V8 twin turbo + that handling makes for a pretty incredible car.

RS-4 does not have a twin turbo, unless its been modded....and I don't think that kit exists for them. They quit making them in 2008. BUT it may have been a RS-6 which was a twin turbo. Audi's are great under warranty, once that ends.....get ready to pay. The RS-4 is a great car that requires carbon cleaning every 10K miles or so....or the valves get all clogged up with goo. I won't buy another Audi till they get their problems solved about carbon junk on their direct injection motors. All of their DI motors seem to have the problem.

Audi's handling has been spot-on for a long time. I wish they had a BIT more power to back it up though - that's always been the biggest complaint about the TT. Well, that and the old ones looked like a glorified new VW Bug...

I'm not a big Audi fan. The only one I would consider is the TT-RS. I like that car a lot. But that's what my fiancée wants so I'll let her handle it.

I think for me it's Porsche or BMW. I really want one of the new 911s, but we'll have to see how the numbers work out in the next couple years. Cayman S would be nice but I'm not really feeling that car right this minute. I do really, really like the new Boxster, though! That car has evolved quite nicely.

On the BMW side... I've considered trading the 5.0 in on a 535i to use as a every day ride and just keep the S2K as a weekend fun car, but I'm not quite ready to get rid of the 5.0. I want to see what the new M3 has in store... smaller, lighter, TT 6... yes please.

Of course the C7 and next gen Mustang could throw a wrench into the mix depending on how they turn out.

They had a pair of the 991s out a couple weekends ago. I was oogling over them. It would be such a nice every day driver with excellent dynamics. I'm sure clients would really like it too.

Too bad they are so damn expensive.
