3300 is slightly heavy but if they did alfa giulia type engineering with the chassis. This may feels super fast?

On paper stats for this may not be the key.
BMW has had a hard time making a Z4 that can out class a mazda rx or a Z in terms of handling. Thats why Toyota is in the mix.
And toyota just didnt want to build a new powetful engine for their sub premium sports entry. Maybe together they can find the formula? So far the Supra Aero looks sick and may be a contributor to supercar handling... Lets see? Toyota is underwhelming but this may be the turnaround?
the real question for me is will it look as good as the prototypes, can you make that engine thrown down big power with a few mods, and price.

If they use the same turbo six they use in all the other BMWs it will respond very well to mods. The big question is if you'll be able to reflash the ecu. You can with BMW, not so much with Toyota.

Kind of depends on the weight & distribution.

Give it a chance. Pretty sure it won't be a better driver's car than my 4C, and that is my track setup. Not a big fan of extra tire width without just cause. More unsprung mass, and more rubber to heat up and keep warm.

Plus, it's a hell of a lot easier to change wheels than to fix other possible shortcomings.

the 4C is great except that they made it just butt ugly (personal opinion). thankfully Alfa made the Giulia Quadrifoglio. that is just a beautiful car especially for a 4 door lol

also, i a guy who runs 265/305 on his Z i like my rubber.

if it looks like that i'll buy one............then instantly do a 2JZ swap.

stupid BMW engine will just blow up and cost more than the car itself to replace lol

Sorry, doesn't do it for me.
Looks like somebody went wild with a LEGO set.

Having seen the FT1 concept, I guess I shouldn't be surprised.

It'll have to perform twice as good, to make me want to walk up to it with a blindfold on.

To be clear, I think that above the belt-line is a knock-off of the 4C (which I love).

But it doesn't work with the lower half. Especially that beak that looks like a Studebaker mated with an F488
