To Spooler: Eat fewer burgers. To xfrgtr: You are the contemporary Bard of Avon. :icon23: To Rusty: Yours is the only sensible, half-intelligent comment of the four that quoted me. To answer your question, the next thing I shall 'come up with' is a big, fat, "Told You So'. My keyboard fingers are quivering in anticipation. By the way, I agree with the recent posters - that render in blue is the normal load of bollox we see at times like this. ps - hopefully this post will help you pass a bit of time until you see the new Z. |

FWIW, I actually spoke with Nissan Corporate yesterday and they said they've never heard of you... |

I know some Americans can be a little brash, but when you've been a British football (soccer) fan for over 50 years it's only a few actual kicks in the face that mean anything significant. Anyway, scepticism is a worthy human trait. If people believed everything they were told, you'd have someone like Donald Trump as your Presid... ...oh, hold on a minute. |

If you re-read my posts I have actually made statements that could be backed up - it's just that I haven't backed them up, so you're well within your rights to disbelieve me. When the car's revealed, I'll be tempted to tell you more, because I respect your scepticism. I'd be just the same as you, in your position. However, I think I may not post at all at that point, unless it's to correct anyone's errors. To be honest, I don't have any interest in bragging - I've just been trying to contribute to a thread which is of great interest to me and to fellow Z enthusiasts (or obsessives, as I am). If you enjoy spending some of your spare time attacking me, go ahead, it's fine. I'm not here to make enemies. I'm as keen as the next man to see the new Z - fully intending to get one, which will be my 5th over a period of fifteen years. Hopefully the rumours of a 400hp 3.0l twin turbo will come true, because that's what I want. I'm not some here-today-gone-tomorrow internet troll, I'm a genuine enthusiast who has been on this site since 2009 (I don't post a great deal here, because I'm over the ocean from you). Finally, to your claim that I haven't seen anything at all... ... ... :horse: always wanted to use that gif. Happy Christmas to you. |

You're the one beating the dead horse claiming you know secret details on the new Z without any information to back it up :ugh2: |

I see that this thread has completely gone off the rails.
|
So now.... heres a supposed EV sketch of the Z.
https://www.autoevolution.com/news/n...gn-139765.html Go ahead and ruin the Z. Thanks to the Ford Crosstang or Mustover? Whatever it's called? Nissan may choose to fvck up the Z like Ford. :koolaidwall: |

Yeap, this is a garbage thread. Garbage in and nothing coming out but Hype and speculation. That is why you can say whatever your imagination can come up with. Chubbs in the south aren't people, they are in your pants if you have one.

I believe Nissan has had plans for the new Z for years. But they have never said anything to lead me to believe it's coming soon. Everything that's been written has been speculation. |

Recently both the chief designer and president of Nissan have said the new Z is coming. I’ll check back here again if and when that happens. |
How long did it take GM to produce a mid engine? They actually had several test mules made before most of those commenting were born! In the grand scheme of things time has no reverence other than to man!!!:stirthepot:

Please allow me to apologise to all of you. It was never my intention to create friction, or anger and I am truly sorry that this has happened. As fellow Z enthusiasts, we should not be squabbling and clearly it is my fault. This place is a wonderful resource for 370z owners - long may it continue. I wish you all well.

Just cuz some people mad and they clique up with the same kotex raged emotions about not having solid info on the new Z and they get mad... Your intentions came from a solid place. You dont have a history of trolling or acting out on the forum. For all intents and purposes, I think what you're saying is true... Its NISSAN that's bipolar about the Z. So what you heard can now be outdated cuz now they decided to restructure or stall the project. Nissan is who frustrates us... Nobody should be getting so mad at one member they're on a 3 page rant just cuz u have 3rd party in information. At best all that needs to be said is, I dont trust that... I'll believe it when I see it. And done. As for the test mule, j think it was either an engine or suspension test. Not a chassis test. So that's why I think that could've been a mule. Cuz early tests of those parts are often seen in an older car. My middle finger to anyone mad cuz my intuition kicked in. Does it mean a Z will come out? No... It just means they're doing a performance check on parts they plan to use if they go thru with it. WE ALL LOVE THE Z HERE. Let's not ride people over faith or lack thereof, of information. Happy Holidays to all and hoping we get some true azz solid Z news for the holiday!!! |
