I don't think you understood, lol.

The 7AT is not a single clutch, or any clutch. It's a regular auto with a torque converter. But I do agree that they did a damn good job

Technically the 7at has two sets of AUTOMATED clutch packs. The low gear clutch pack(1-4) and high gear clutch pack (5-7). It's the high gear clutch pack that's weaker on the 7at and needs to be upgraded with a stronger clutch pack if you want your AT to stage 1 supercharge. Anything more and you need to change both low and high gear clutch packs.

Who sells these higher gear clutch packs? All I thought for supercharging was a tranny cooler and maybe a valvebody upgrade.

I'd have to research it now. GTM was the go to for this before.

Is that why the change from 4th to 5th is slower than the rest?

My car is at 418whp/311tq and isn't slipping yet but I only get into 5th on the track twice and both are very short.

Yes. You are running about 58rwhp more than the high gears can handle. I would change the high gear pack or burn more gas in fourth. If your gears are still slow after the high gear clutch pack? The final fix would be the valve body.

Where can I get the high gear clutch pack?
