Is the FRS a Subaru? Is the Genesis 2.0 an Evo? Is the Vette a Silverado? Its not like Nissan is going to be taking these motors out of Benz's. Just because they use the basic engine design doesn't mean that Nissan won't have any development in the motor that makes it to the Z. This is all speculation anyway. Hell Nissan could use the motor straight from the Mercedes factory, but even then to say its not a Z is absurd. Nissan is going to be doing a ton of R&D on the car. Specifically design for a smaller/lighter car and suspension. Mercedes is not.
