Bought some SSRs on black Friday :)

onzedge 11-29-2014 12:32 PM

Never buy cheap parts. I bought Ichiba 15mm wheel spacers (rear) for my 40th (RIP) a few years ago and re-used them on my 2013. I went to remove the rears yesterday and friggin' rounded one of the nuts. I was using a 6-point socket also.

This should be fun.

Changed the oil on a Z (not mine, Ms. Pint's). Found my original window sticker while cleaning up the garage

Just spent 2,400 on high flow cats, stillen gen3 intakes and FI TDX exhaust. Money well wasted!

What kind of cover do you have?

jpkirk 11-29-2014 10:09 PM

Drove the Z around the block. OK... it's a big block. About 30 miles then washed it and put it in the garage. A detail and a wax coming up. 45 degrees out. Brrrrrrrrr

May be the last drive of the year. We had snow but no chemicals on the road.

Met up with a Houston Zs in a church parking lot. As I get to know more and more, the upgrade gremlin is beginning to itch.

Installed JDM foglight. Set up with dual filament bulb thanks to Bullit79 for the freebie harness. Added a controller from 3rdbrakeflasher to flash for braking.

Put my baby to bed for the long winter sleep.

Sad to put her away, but it will make the spring that much sweeter.

Pintsize725 11-30-2014 04:59 PM

Went down a fun road and took some pictures with it.

No need to unless your enduring bad weather. Atlanta is pretty good year round, but there are a few months of rain, sleet and ice that I don't care to even bring the cars out so for me there is a month or so of storage every year for me. My Nismo is not a daily driver anyway, more like once a week, the SRT8 is once a month and my SmartCar is my daily driver.

I live in the land of over-salted roads.
She goes under cover before the first snow and doesn't come out until Easter weekend. (insert Jesus/resurrection joke here)

Dreadnaught 12-01-2014 12:10 AM

Mid Atlantic had high 60's where I am, with a sunny sky. Went for a drive down state. Getting cold again over the week.

mishuko 12-01-2014 08:17 AM

I'm on the fence about getting my '13 Rays powder coated in dark graphite. Like the '14 GTR or Lexus LFA wheels.

I didn't know that rolling my window down a tad to enjoy my warmed up exhaust in fake manual mode (higher revs) = me wanting to race the 328i next to me. Talk about a shitty driver.....

You obviously forgot: it's always about the BMW guy. Smh.

Enjoyed my 104 mile round trip today in my Nismo to work. Get to do it again tomorrow. Puts a smile on my face every time. It can be a rough day, but wait till the day is done and on my way home. It all get's washed away.
