What's the best (quickest) way to find out if my 350Z is an HR or not?

Go to parts.nissanusa.com. Enter VIN. You may have to search for a part, but it should give you the engine details.

An even easier indication is the hump on the hood. Hump = HR 350z.

Well, his avatar does show 300,000 on the ODO which is about 187k so it must be 197k miles.

Just make sure when you put on the pipe clamps for the mid pipe to have the bolts point at an up angle, because i groud mine down form scraping. They were also a nice roadkill catcher, i found the remains of a raccoon on mine when i put my coilovers on. :shakes head:

won't be putting these in myself... i rather have a shop do it and take a look at the undercarriage as well while they're at it. :happydance:

Yes indeed! Thanks to coilovers, the underside of my car is coated in what appears to be hair from all of the stuff that I couldn't or failed to avoid.

I'm probably going to do an oil change and finally plumb in my oil temp and pressure sensors. I had to order some stuff from Summit, so I went ahead and grabbed some AN to NPT adapters to put the sensors in line with the oil cooler.

Not bad. Take your time. I will be really paranoid when mine hits 44,444.44 miles. Because "4" sounds same as "die" in Chinese. :wtf2::eek::icon17:

Since we are showing our mileage. Not too bad for the first year...it's not my DR per se but it is my preferred made of transport.
