I wouldn't be so upset about it if he didn't almost hit me or cause me to hit him twice. First time he cuts into my lane and proceeds to brake quickly. Second time, he turns right into the outside lane, I turn into the inside lane and am passing him and he decides he wants to try to swerve over into my lane when I'm next to him.

Took the Mrs to lunch in Waikiki today. While at a red light, a tourist with a big expensive looking camera points it at the Z and starts taking pictures as we pull away on the green light. I didn't see him as he was on the passenger side, but my wife did and says to me, "oh my God, I can't believe someone just did that". We then pull up to the valet and he tells me, "wow nice car sir, you must be doing something right with your life".

Life's good in a 13 Z

Drove my Z through rain for the first time, it does not rain in Southern California every day. The funny thing is I turned on my wipers for the first time, car is so planted on the road it's ridiculous

Got her back in the car last night. Still lots of odds and ends to sort out, install the interior and fab up a new exhaust. Need a few tweaks on the Mishimoto rad too (using a Civic EG radiator).

It was a tech at a shop that we use frequently. They took it on a road test after an oil change and this happened.

mishuko 12-03-2014 11:02 AM

Rolling around on a battery that tested 245 CCA this morning. I bought a new battery but have not installed it because no tools :ugh2:

I can just see the conversation when I get stranded and have to flag someone down.

Stranger: can I help you?
Me: do you have a 10 mm wrench? My battery died.
Stranger: huh?

Must have been one heck of a "road test" ... of which the car passed and the driver... well ... :ugh2:

Holy oil change, Batman!

I hope there was more than an oil change involved that required a road test.

So sad to see.

I just gave the black mamba it's first bath.
it's a foggy, misty, 50° day here in Oklahoma but I had to get some poop off of it. Damned inconsiderate birds.
and painted my emblems red last week, so there's that too.

NOOOOOOooooo... please no rain. It has seen enough of that for the year.

You know they say a solid fantasy life is good for the soul.

So I requested a car cover for Christmas. As soon as any chemistry gets dropped on the roads, she stays in the garage till a good strong rain after winter to wash the chemistry from the roads.

Installing Stillen Gen 3 Intake today. Still too new to do a tune. Mapping out an upgrade plan and the right time to tune.

good man! i had trouble using some of the brackets they came with so i just did a little swap of the stock ones... that was honestly the hardest part of the install... fingalinging around with the brackets.

the dremel part will take you all but 15 minutes for both sides... get some cloth/mf to protect the AC tubes when dremelling. it took me about 3 hours with a friend.

but definitely agree with your last part... see what other 'mods' you plan on doing before tuning (unless you want to get the tuner version of something and drop $ retuning every time). the ECU will adjust just fine with only intakes... i'll find out how it does in teh spring once i put in my stillen CBE (i don't forsee any issues).

put some pics up when you're done!
