Thanks.

http://www.the370z.com/diy-section-d...ights-mod.html

me no smart enuff to figure this out on own, I followed the above DIY!

I was able to pry the DRL plug apart but still pulled the wire out leaving the pin in on the tan wire so just cut the red one (the counter stopped with one second before the warhead went off!) I'll not be going back to DRLs off so no worries.
They are on whenever car is running, headlights on/off independently by switch as before.

I already had 30% film over the DRLs to go with my blacked out theme so that they won't be too bright at night.

Has anyone ever tried using yellow film or krylon yellow glass paint on their DRL's? I tried searching far and wide, with no luck...only found 1 pic on google

Im a fan of yellow fogs and have that on my 4door but...was wondering if yellow DRL would look good

easy to try, yellow window film, $6.99 on Amazon, I just used scrap window tint and quick trim with a razor knife

I joked with Mrs burntz that I was going to alternate red and green films on them for xmas

Hey BlueBatmanMobile; group buy on xmas DRL tints??

What I was doing with prior Z 6/4/15! (Was scrolling thru my pics and saw this)

It's pretty obvious that I am a master of wise decision making.

more oldies, after a day at Sebring with too aggressive pads ( NO wear on the pad at all!)

(sorry for the thread drift, just sitting on couch cuddling pugs, waffles and coffee)

Happy Xmas the370Z...

So I ordered red and green tint (12"x48") and will have way too much so if any one wants a strip of each PM me your address and I'll mail them out.

Thinking on it I'll pick 20 names randomly off the list of PMs I have when they're ready to go.

[there ya go a ~10$ stamp limit which apparently quantifies my Xmas spirit of giving]

mishuko 11-20-2015 10:56 AM

one last cruise tonight, taking the gf out on a date. coming dt for dinner then drive around a bit. will be a bit chilly so i need to be careful on the bends.

then storage on sunday... everything is prep'd just need to top up the gas and stabil it.

connect trickle charger, over-inflate tires, block the tires, block the pipes, open up a box of baking soda and then let out a long drawn out sigh.

I received my custom plates yesterday. Bought some stuffs at the Home Depot, come back home and made a plate relocation kit myself. I'm happy with the result :icon18:

New Tire Rack rubber showed up in my driveway from UPS yesterday!!! (255/285x19 pilot super sports)

Now I just need to pop them on my summer rims while I'm still running the winter rims. (PSS A/S)

I've never tried the PSS. They were pricey, but I hear good things. Its going to be a long winter waiting to bolt those bad boys on.

Re-attached the front air dam after scrubbing it on a bottom out and half tearing it off. Then took the Z for a rip roar around Mercer Island, with the wife hollering about the g-forces hurting her bruises - from falling off her mountain bike yesterday. Beautiful day here in Washington state.

tondraj 11-22-2015 09:40 PM

Washed, clay barred, and waxed the Z yesterday to get it ready for storage this week. I bought it used (2011), and can tell it's never been clay barred before! It makes such a difference.

Installed the Axxess interface for my head unit. Now the steering wheel buttons work.
https://farm1.staticflickr.com/667/2...e0faae93_c.jpg

Also installed SPC front/rear camber kit and Powertrix SS coilovers. The front took about 3hrs, then my friend came and we had a few beers. Then I didn't know how I stripped one of the 12mm nut on top of the rear strut. Now it's a pain in the *** to get it out. I tried everything I could but it didn't move. :eekdance: I have to take it to the shop tomorrow to get the rear done.
Lesson learned : Don't drink and work at the same time :icon17:

Yeah, it's because of all the Kroger points I earned from buying gift cards for Christmas. I saved $.80 per gallon.

In Memphis, Kroger gas stations use Shell fuel, so I feel confident filling up there.
