Been working on a custom trunk setup. went through about 4 ideas before i settled on a final. Now i just gotta get some suede and some more foam. Doing a diamond stitch on my door panels in red suede with black thread, then going to do the same pattern in the trunk on black suede with red thread... man, I love being able to do my own upholstery!

Finally put some new rubber on the Z this past weekend  :driving:

The recent cold and rain was starting to get a little dicey with these guys :eekdance:

I'm getting new front tires tomorrow, that might have been a contributing factor with my encounter with the possum. I still had the summer tires on, and the temps were in the mid 30s. :eekdance:

tonythetiger 12-03-2015 08:53 PM

finally got rid of my airbag signal since going to aftermarket seats by installing a resistor!

Update: Having anxiety attacks cause I rushed my Z into my crappy garage... I wasn't prepared at all...she hasn't even had a wash - even if I did I don't own a cover... I don't own a tender, I don't have wheel chocks, I don't have crap at the moment... ugh

But at least she is inside...

HulaGirl 12-05-2015 01:12 PM

Drove to Wawa for a big cup of coffee. Thinking I need to get out of this house and wash it since it's about 53 degrees.

RonRizz 12-05-2015 01:15 PM

Beautiful sunny day, not a cloud in the sky....48 degrees......Pullin' off the cover and going out for a tear!

HulaGirl 12-05-2015 02:22 PM

And I did. Hand wash is now complete and best of all, carolers stopped by and sang three songs!!!

D.Stillwell 12-05-2015 02:44 PM

I wrapped my Stillen G3's with DEI gold tape.

Also, I now have yellow DRL's (vinyl overlay). Looks good IMO and I haven't seen others with it...

I know, I know. Pics to follow :iagree:

2 weekends ago I got my z tuned via uprev.

On the tuners dynojet... 313whp 262 lbs torque. I have a 7at, so the tuner had a file to dramatically reduce shift lag... it's been taking getting used too.. but quite a difference. .

Took my z to a drag strip andearned that my rear tires need replacing lol

Drove her on some nice, twisty roads in the country this morning, then came home and washed, vacuumed, and quick detailed her.

Thanks dude! Yeah I looked all over to see pics and if anyone ever did it. Found nothing. So went ahead and got it done

Thinking about wiring the DRL to be on with the lights at night. Really not sure about this one though...

hahaha! nice man. well my personal opinion leave it like oem... well at least i like how it look like oem... the DRL with the headlight at the same time i think is too much...

D.Stillwell 12-07-2015 05:00 PM

:iagree:

Yeah, thinking the same. I like the OEM drl setup. The light looked real good and bright yellow today on way home from work, I was looking at reflections in car bumpers lol

Overall Im real happy with the mod and few people already asked about it today and gave compliments

I'm toying with the idea of flocking the dashboard in this like I did with my old S13. Not entirely sure though. Actually didn't look half bad in the 240. (only picture I had of it actually in the car)

....opinions? It was actually pretty nice as far as having absolutely no sun bouncing off the dash.

The possum started the problem, compounded by summer tires and mid 30s temps. I was only doing about 40 when the possum wandered out in the road. I don't swerve for small critters, because of the potential for bad things happening. I hit the possum with the left front tire, and instead of going over him, it skidded and upset the car. I got off the gas and stayed off the brake, and just steered. I almost had the car caught, the butt was coming around and once it came around, the car would have stopped. But I hit the transition of the intersection and it straightened the car and it slid sideways into the street sign. The possum was last seen heading west from the road....:shakes head:

That blows, but your ending sentence had me laughing my head off in the office. Customer service thinks I am now even more insane.

Leingod 12-08-2015 08:39 AM

Status update #712

No possums since my Z is still in winter storage. You're welcome.
