Worth it though!

Yup, had to whip out a butter knife to shimmy it into place.

Nope, this is how they look fully installed. Granted the double sided 3m tape may not have been enough or thick enough on the top. But even when it's pushed into place, you can feel it trying to stretch from the rear part and it can't because it's FRP.

I'm going to try a thicker tape next week. I also don't know if the passenger side was damaged when taken off by the previous owner.

I am assuming they are after market skirts?

Took her to the park for our daily workout.

Installed hotchkis sway bars and mounted AG M310 in gloss brushed antique bronze. Also, removed the exhaust.

Tomorrow, I battle the demon bolt and install my ART pipes and invidia cbe. Fingers crossed it goes smoothly

The second or third time I put them on they got 1/2 inch shorter

I thanked the stars that I did not throw away the broken steering wheel wiring assembly. When I installed my new one, I did not realize that the steering angle sensor was a separate part and left it attached to the unit, figuring that I accidentally bought the wrong model of assembly. The angle sensor costs $800! Luckily, as noted earlier, I still had the broken piece, so I was able to pull my old sensor off.

kenchan 07-17-2014 10:33 PM

dang, close call! :D

That would have been an expensive lesson! Glad it worked out for ya tho!

Replaced the burned out dust seals on my ap racing calipers.

Quite!

I was shocked when I saw the cost of a new sensor. For reference, the wiring assembly that it attaches to only costs ~$200. I would have assumed that it was the other way around.

Nope. Seems to be a common thing, I had to muscle mine in as well. I like how it cleans up the engine bay.

Yesterday I put in an LED kit for the interior & license plate lights.

Also, blacked out my emblems. Still debating if I should debadge the 370Z emblem before my paint starts to fade

Did a wash and a wax job, Wax On, Wacks Off - getting her ready to meet some other members for Z-Cruz here in Sunny San Diego tomorrow.

Just ordered some stylish new filters for my intakes

Conical Filters - Turbo , Street and Drag

( Click to show/hide )

I noticed the rubber on one of my current filters has separated in small section. I am hoping R2C will take care of me and replace the filter at no charge. And then I'll have two sets to swap between, making cleanings easier :D

I love the plate!

I put in the sensor that I was speaking about earlier, and killed that annoying flashing airbag light.

Feel free to send the nismo wheels this way. I will be more than happy to get new rubber put on and install them on my car so you don't have to store them.

Finally got my baldy front V12's replaced with PS-04 265/35/19 :)

I just had the rears put on a couple of weeks ago. PS-04 285/35/19.

Now on to some front camber arms and a complete alignment. :ugh2:

MadChemist 07-19-2014 02:41 PM

Was defeated by the demon bolt. Even with swivel impact sockets and extensions and a maxed out air compressor (150 psi), it wouldn't budge. Gave up and installed the cbe. Now to find a shop to install the ART pipes.

Either this will help if the room permits or have it torched off

With the flammables that I have in my garage, fire wouldn't be the safest idea and I wanted to save the cats just in case I ever sell the vehicle.

Here a picture on the new wheels, since I let you down.

Normally, I am not a fan of bronze/gold rims but yours look quite sharp. Nice job.

By the way, are you mad like angry or made like insane/wacked/nuts/psycho? I have puzzled over this.
