I lasted 4 1/2 years....even reinlisted once! My body decided to have a seizure on active duty and back in '92/'93 they had that Early Out program. Well, I was an E-4, a dime a dozen......I was put on TDRL (Temp. Disability Retirement List) and about a year later was called back to active duty for a medical re-evaluation.

The whole eval lasted 5 minutes. Doc says he doesn't see why I shouldn't be allowed back in. He recommends it. Less than 30 days later I get a package from Randolph AFB in Texas.....I was denied. Got $8K and that was the end of my military career.
