Do these work with the defrost feature of the OEM mirrors? I don't have blind spot issues, but that's just cool.

Once I adjusted the mirror so that just the very edge of the door handle is visible at the edge of the mirror, the blind spot went away. I don't need to see the side of the car, I know where that is. To be fair, I can imagine backing up is a huge pain in the *** without the camera.

I came from 10 years of Miata driving where the blind spots are even worse with the top up so the mirror adjustment is second nature. I agree about backing out of a space though, I just go super slow so, hopefully, someone sees me if I don't see them!

Go slowly, listen for a horn, right?

My sister's got a Miata. There's no visibility with the top up at all. It's a fun little car. I just wish I could drive it. Size 13EE feet don't allow one to hit only the gas or brake. It's both.

Absolutely! Angle the mirrors out so you have to move your head to the left or right to see the side of the car. No more blind spot.

I learned a long time ago to have the mirrors adjusted so I can barely see the side of the vehicle. This gives a better angle and blind spot coverage to help with the blind spot. It took some time to get used to the view, but now, I believe it really helps.

There are still some bad blind spots, especially when backing out of a parking spot. Backing in to the spot helps when you have to leave.

I guess I'd have to disagree a little. Properly adjusted mirrors and a willingness to move your head a little and there are no significant spots. If you want to sit with your back pegged and head pegged to the sit back then yes, a bit of an issue. I do use the extra mirrors, but mostly out of added assurance and because it lets me see an additional lane over.

If I lean forward a bit it really helps my visibility in the side mirror, but thy being said I think I wanna get some of those convex mirrors.

Despite not feeling these are a must, I do like them and would buy them if they were a bit more affordable. I agree that the add on mirrors sort of spoil the look.

Me too. I bought a pair, stuck them on to test fit, and pulled them right back off.

You know, a periscope would be cool. Of course then someone would strap on some torpedoes and ruin it for everyone.

Never had a problem with the little mirrors. Wal-Mart used to sell them for <$2 a piece, now they don't carry it anymore and you have to get it at Autozone for like $10 a pair.

You can see it on the door that is open too

I don't have any problems while driving, but then again, my mirrors are properly adjusted! I do agree that backing out of a parking space can be a bitch, especially parked next to a SUV.

I don't even use the inside mirror. No way to see anything with the spoiler blocking the view!

The solution is very very simple.

A convex broadway mirror thats 360mm+. I bought one today, and when used with properly adjusted side mirrors. Its amazing. You have to adjust the mirrors so the view is 3/4 the rear window + 2/3 of the passenger side windows.

I can see literally everything on the passenger side. If you buy the 400mm convex mirror you should be able to see 100% of the rear window as well.

10/10 would recommend.
