Just confront the service manager and ask him about it, be polite and see if he is truthful.
If he lies then present the facts and ask for what you feel would cover the cost. Also, be prepared for the service manager to not know so have proof.

Wait to hear his story if their is one. Then your next stop should be the GM's office of the dearlership.

Hang them but their nuts, seriously. Now, thats the other reason why I have a real time GPS tracking system in my car!
