For the most part, I think you're right, although I've received compliments from people of both genders.

Generalizing here, most women don't care enough about performance cars or driving to even know how special a Z is, and most men care only enough to know what a Z is. Every once in a while, you get an enthusiast of either gender who recognizes and enjoys the car enough to compliment it. But you also get compliments from non-enthusiasts who just recognize that it's a nice car.
