Default Advice Needed: Best Radar Detector

Guys,

I am looking for the best radar detector available. Have to rush home 350 miles for my mother's 80 birtday on March 17th, and I willl, well, probably break the speed limit.

At any rate "good" radar detectors may now be a myth . . .

Thanks in advance for your input!

Jeff

I am partial to the 9500IX as well, I love how it locks out signals. It works well.

9500 rocks. I have a stealth remote installed 8500ci, it's excellent as well. The V1 fanbois will kick and scream, but I think the 9500 is top current technology for radar detection at it's finest.
