But if your idea of a perfect Z is to strip out some of the interior and turn it into a race car then you cant look down on others who want to keep it a street car and make it moreso by adding ice and rims. Live and let live. Neither side is using the Z as it was fully intended is what Im saying. So neither side should be griping at the other. Its first and foremost a streetcar with amenities, comfortable with a good sound system etc. There are better cars suited to both sides of this equation so that argument is moot imho.

I know exactly where both of you are coming from and completely understand both sides thats why Im being objective. I see the merits of both sides. Not everyone lives there lives a 1/4 mile at a time The majority of Z's will never see the track so why should all of us turn it into a track car. At the same time you mess with the balance of the car with +3 on dub rims and laden it down with heavy ICE. One is acceptable for the street/show and the other better suited to tracking. No need to pop a blood vessel if someone else is doing what you wouldnt do. I honestly dont see the ICE and Dub guys getting this worked up about what the performance focused crowd is doing.
