That's weird, did you drive your normal route?

Shocks won't go out for at least 20k

Not yet, he won't have time to look at it for another week.

I talked to him about it yesterday and we both agree it is most likely the fact that we didn't allow the links enough articulation

Dropped her off at Nissan to get the headliner replaced. The one from the factory was cut too short, so now it is pulling away on the driver side.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1367612017.177279.jpg

Got my donor diff fully torn apart to get ready for the 4.08 gear install with Quaife LSD. I plan on it taking atleast a full week for me to get it set completely correct. Also ordered a new set of Z1 test pipes as the Top Speed ones cracked. Probably from the terrible fitment and the stress my y-pipe was putting on it just to bolt up.

Mine is simply separating where it meets the windshield in separate locations. My fat a$$ fingers fit between the liner and the windshield without touching

Got my battery cable to relocate the battery to the trunk. Also test fitted my compressor and fabbed up a bracket to keep the SC from flexing under load..

It's really hard to take pics, especially with the angle of the sun at the moment (iPhone camera doesn't help). But here's one from the outside that shows the gap, and a picture of my view of it from the driver seat every time I get in the car

I asked Nissan if this is something they have seen before. They said, maybe on the cheaper Sentra, but not on something like the Z. So they take less care in making other cars? Mine was doing it from mile 1, just took a while to get the liner in....

Drove her into the loop today for the first time. Don't have a second car yet, and the wife needed hers for work. Since this is my first manual I thought it'd be a pain in the stop n go traffic on I290 but it wasn't bad at all! Obviously if I had to make that drive everyday, I'd prefer an auto, but for these one off situations it was a breeze! Keep proper spacing was key. I just coasted in 2nd for the most part.
