I didn't have any problem with my Z but decided to add a rear view cam ANYWAY since the headunit had a really nice setup. If blind spot is an issue, you can simply get one of these cameras (for members with aftermarket radio) and life can be a little easier

If you have factory Nav, is the installation of a camera not possible?
