Anyway, have a great Saturday everyone!!! I miss my Z's and Juke. My rental car is a Chevy Malibu and if any of you wonder why GM got itself into the mess it was/is in, then go drive a Malibu and your questions will be answered.
Happy saturday Onzedge! I love Mn... first wild eagle i ever saw was on a boundary waters trip ...got the shot albeit fuzzy-too much distance and excitement i guess. I'm a spazz w my camera too -soory u missed the shot and that you miss your Z-onwards and upwards!

Changed my cabin filter using the DIY last night and then going to dynmatt the doors this morning...I tink it was the orignal filter, and boy it was dirty!! Given how much pollen and other junk s in the air I suggest everyone change their cabin filters. I just used the Nissan part.

Mr.onzedge

Have a very nice weekend in Battle Lake

Regarding Malibu... I'm fully with you dude.. I drove one couple months ago for couple days...

On a positive note from driving the Maliboooo..... it reminds myself to work hard all the time thus not to make myself downgrade that kind of sh!t whenever..

No Z action today but tomorrow got a club cruise through some twisties in the mountains and then off to a Time Attack/Lapping night.
So I will prep the car tonight and figure out a great GoPro location...finally get to use this thing lol

Oh, wife upgraded and got this thing. We realized the 3 series is not all that big and our 8 month old is a big boy lol.

X5 with M Package 19 wheels (I convinced her on the wheels) She is loving it and feels like a "gangsta".

You have to really work for it, here. I drive almost 20 miles to get to a short stretch of barely-used smooth road with a few low-speed tight corners. Or, there's always the city's racetrack - I465; plenty of ramps. But always populated. Not a great idea.

I was in Austin a few years back. The south side on the way to Fredericksburg looked sort of interesting. Made me wish I had my Z, at least. Also drove up on the NW side near some lake if I recall correctly, lots of hills. But the houses back in there all had driveways you'd need a 4wd to get into.

davey- in my area it's the same thing. it's mostly straight and a very few areas with a little twisties. but it's okay, the car sounds great and love the dynamics so i still enjoy it. oh, and MT is a must in these boring roads.

The Fredericksburg route is kind of boring to me and FULL of cattle guards.

Lime Creek is on that NW side as well as 1431. Both great roads.

Lately I've been enjoying the new toll road 130. 80 mph speed limit and if you know the road well, you can easily get away with a lot more. New section they are opening up down south will be 85 mph.

motored my Z this am and was a decent drive. i was pretty tired to begin with and some folks were driving like idiots so that wasn't real nice.

but there's this one section i really enjoy driving and that part was no traffic and smooth. also tested out my olympus mic's new setup. not bad, will play with it more tomorrow.

spot QD'ed afterwards. some stupid little dog came running and barking at me from behind so that was annoying. was going to kick it but the owner had him on a leash. she didnt say sorry or anything. just ignored and walked away. stupid dog owner.

planning to hook up with my buddy with the xB later on today to see his car.

hi mr.alcheng- sorry to hear about the nail puncture. ive not had a puncture but i did find a short screw stuck in my G's S04 a few weeks ago. but it did not penetrate through so i lucked out. but yah, i would've just plugged it and forgotten about it.

the dog owner was not hot at all. she wasn't fat or anything but just middle aged white woman racist type. you know, the ones that dont talk to asians cause they pre-determine we dont know how to speak english.
next time i see her, i will tell her dogs make good stew.

yah, i was suppose to meet up with the guy today but he said he suddenly got called in to work this late am and not done. he's a IT guy so i know how that goes.. so maybe next week. im not in a huge rush to get a xB....lol

That is absolutely true!!! (although I never tried it... my parents... during the old days 60+ years ago..)

I think the Z is a chic magnet, and the Conti-DW is a nail-magnet....
