regardless i like the fact that it's very concave and spoke actually extends past the rim plane for that extra down side is you need to watch out when you handle these type wheels as they tend to scuff easily when carrying them. i usually masking tape up the spokes on the area that protrudes past the rim before taking them to the tire store to wrap.

also ive heard some alignment shops scuff up such spokes unless they are very careful when they mount their instruments onto the wheel. my weds are the same way. i think they look fantastic on the curvy bodyline of our Z's.
Love concave wheels on our cars.

Well done, Mr. Shado I agree on the third photo - the pink tones with the dragon winding out in front is a beautiful sight to behold.

If you don't think the Big Type-R is too big for the Z interior, then I'm going with the Desert Eagle black pearl with shift pattern etching. Though I'm gonna have trouble convincing the wife to let me spend $200 (with discount) on a new shift knob right now. Maybe in a few months

I read it wrong the first time, too. Now I just do a double take each time.

hahaha, i have the normal TWM typeR in satin in my G right now and it feels great. the satin finish actually keeps the surface cooler than normal stainless or mirror (hot finishes).

the big type-r is only considerably bigger, not HUGEGANGOUS looking at the picts, i think. i got the standard brushed stainless one for my Z.

the PWJDM was fine until i mis-shifted the other week when the rear of my Z spun out about 65degrees requiring a 120 degree counter and i was trying to get into 2nd gear when the knob slipped out of my hand causing me to spill- water-from-the-cup which is a big fail. it was an abrupt recovery from a drift and i did not enjoy it one bit. i blame it on the knob.

HAHA blame the knob!

It certainly will get hot here in TX in the summer, but my hands are pretty heat tolerant from working in a kitchen for many years (I try to keep up that ability by handling hot stuff on a regular basis - like grabbing the exhaust tips with both hands after a spirited drive ). If I really need to, I am considering purchasing some driving gloves to keep in the car since my hands tend to get sweaty when I'm holding onto the steering wheel or shift knob for an extended period of time. Its more when I'm taking a trip out of town than during DD. I haven't decided if it makes me pretentious or just lame, but I figure if its for the purpose of better maintaining the leather surfaces my hands touch, then its perfectly acceptable.

Sounds like an end-user error! Now if you actually had the cup of water in-hand I would bow before you in awe, but that's not the case....is it?

Mr.kenchan, I fixed it for you...

Yes... I thought about that too, the style is simple enough, which is what I like, and it's light, 22lbs.

The spokes do protrude a little, I think I can get away from scratching it with extra cautions...

Won't be right now for the decision cos I am getting the exhaust... but definitely during this Winter when the Z is hibernating...
