Nope, I want 18's.

Why do you want 18's? Most want to go +1 or +2... Is it because of the money you've got invested in your rubber? Just curious.

I am getting it fixed. I took that shot at my doctor's office yesterday. I got a tetanus shot in my arm and antibiotic in my tushy. I also got cool Daffy Duck bandaids. Heavy antibiotics now.

Actually, I wanted to stay with 18's as well. They're lighter wheels, and more air in the tires equals a gentler ride.

No, you want 19's.

Dont listen to Al and his talk of comfy rides and what not. If you want comfy buy a Cadillac.

Not even a swollen, dog bitten hand can stop the posting / repping of the great onzedge!

Yup, my PSS are still pretty new and I like the cost of the 18's vs the 19's. :) I've also heard that finding 19 tires is somewhat of a pain.

If you want raw performance, break your exhaust and then drive the dragon :icon17:

I think they look great, and so do 19's. I think 20's look retarded.

It is subjective, but I think they look great.

It's also hard to beat the weight and some of the tire options

Still doesn't help me if I don't know what the heck offset is and what I should get.

Offeset is the distance between the Hub(where the wheel connects) and the center line of the wheel

:iagree: 18's have more options and tires are cheaper. The Weight savings is an underrated thing as well. Looks are subjective and depend on the wheel. Personally I like the way 19's look but if i tracked I Would probably get 18's

Good afternoon Mr.kenchan :hello:

Are you talking about your Nikon-something-or-other camera? :bowrofl:

I'm not attached to them either. I had some old Canon glass from my film days so it made sense to stay with a Canon DSLR. For walking around I bought a Canon G-10 (I need to sell it), then Nikon came out with the J1. I bought one to try out. It's a nice casual use camera.

You can't go wrong with Nikon or Canon, they are almost the same thing.

Uh oh! Get ready to have your mind blown! Mr.Kenchan knows a lot about in this area.

Alchemy 06-06-2012 02:13 PM

If I tracked, 18's fo sho. I agree Al, no 20's for me.

the less positive number you have, the farther out the wheels will stick out.

so a +15mm will stick out further than +30mm. but i think you'll want to get 19's. if you're planning on lowering your ride you can use smaller numbers. if you plan to keep it stock height, the max i would go is +30 front +15 rear. otherwise the tire will literally start sticking out the arches.

So I noticed today that if I go over the upramp speedbumps in my apt parking structure too slow, my FI exhaust canisters scrape =(. This is after the Swift springs. If i go a little faster, it doesn't seem to happen.
