mr.alcheng- lol!! :icon18:

so i decided to return the audiotechnica mic since it didn't do to well in my line of tests on the gopro. regardless of which mic used, Hero2 has this weird audio processor in the background that filters, boosts the bass and treble, and dynamically limits the audio which makes the audio sound like it has a high pitched ringing noise + sampling in low bps mp3. the audio does wat it is intended to do though, to be a reference track to sync up to real audio later in post.

the mic's packed up and ready to ship out tomorrow. the money im getting refunded is going pay for that mount i ordered today for my digital audio recorder. :p and the balance will be put towards camera #2.

At my last job we had a coffee pool. We each put in $5 for coffee for the week. We had one asshat who had a giant cup that would basically empty the pot first thing in the morning, he would leave just enough coffee to cover the bottom of the pot and wouldnt bother making more. Some people's kids :shakes head:

Anyways, good morning all :hello: :icon17:

There was an azzhat at my last job that used to do the same thing. It used to piss me off because I was ALWAYS making another pot to ensure others didnt get screwed. :(

It's the only time I can do it consistently. If I tried to work out after work I'd never go to the gym. :icon17:

how you doing?

Pintsize725 06-06-2012 09:27 AM

Saw a silver GTR out here in the sticks. I was like :icon14::confused::excited:.

Then my car decided to act weird pulling into work but it could have been user error, I'm hoping.

I accidentally blank repped you, Mr. Onzedge. Hope you and Opie are doing well on the road to recovery this fine hump day. On a dog note, I am about 2-3 weeks overdue taking Athena to the groomer. I dropped her off this morning and felt so bad about her matted paws that I gave them permission to just shave her legs if they needed to. :shrugs:

There are no accidental reps!!!

Opie and I are on the mend. He is all stitched up and got his teeth worked on yesterday -- we are in for $1,400 so far, but the owner of Cujo is paying, which is the least he can do. He's a nice guy and highly cooperative, so it's hard to be pissed at him. Plus he's a photographer by trade (even though he's a Nikon guy which does not make him a bad person necessarily).

Thanks also to everyone who extended their best wishes for Opie. He's a great little guy and just wants everyone to get along.

The rep was on purpose  the lack of text was accidental :icon17:

That's a great guy to offer paying for the bills. Absolutely right that its the least he could do, but its also more than you could expect from a lot of people in this world. I can forgive a lot when people do the right thing right away and without being coerced into it. It just says a lot about someone's character.

Glad to hear the recovery is progressing well :tiphat:

I saw one near Mopac and Wells Branch earlier this week. Wonder if was the same one... I seem to remember a fair amount of sticker action on his windows. :ugh2: But it sure sounded sexy

What kind of weirdness? User error is often a problem with humans.
