Morning Y'all :hello: Off to work. Oil change gonna happen either tonight or Sat sometime.

Alchemy 05-31-2012 07:30 AM

Gmorning guys:hello:

Busy week, not much time for the forum:(

Hoping to give my car a much needed wash this evening. She is pretty gross. Also need to trim all the foliage growing into my driveway, trying to scratch my Z.

Have a good day everyone.

GaleForce 05-31-2012 07:35 AM

Good morning Jar :hello:

Good morning everyone. Today I'm going to talk to a man to learn what hoops i need to jump through for clearing my Amuse kit from customs.

Pintsize725 05-31-2012 07:37 AM

Is there a DIY/How To for this mod anywhere on the forum? That will help.
It really is pretty easy though, and only requires the most basic of hand tools like a screwdriver and pliers. A butter knife or spoon and some WD40 will help you slip the hoses over the throttle bodies without even needing to remove the shock tower brace.

Couldn't find a DIY. I'm more worried about undoing something and forgetting to set it back up and fudging up the sensors. We'll see how I feel later.

Good morning guys. Kind of tired. I left at 9pm last night and went straight to bed. Got up at 4:30 again for the gym. Can't wait 'til the weekend when I can sleep in some.

Fire 05-31-2012 08:36 AM

Hi Guys :hello: Hope everybody is having a good day.

Fire 05-31-2012 08:44 AM

I C we are modding evrything including our shoes eh? LOL Pint I know your fears. I spent a couple months looking at my rear wing before drilling the alum. trunk lid. Things turned out fine though.

m4a1mustang 05-31-2012 08:46 AM

Shoes? I like shoes. Everyone got their shoes wet on our hike at ZDayZ. Luckily for me I had four dry pairs waiting for me at the hotel. :)

Fire 05-31-2012 09:04 AM

So I should plan an extra pair of shoes eh?

m4a1mustang 05-31-2012 09:24 AM

Always bring an extra pair whenever you travel. Or pairs.

And always wear clean underoos in case you are in an accident. My Mom always told us that growing up. Did she really want us to be in an accident? Was it wishful thinking on her part? Was there a self-fulfilling prophecy at work?

These are deep questions that only a therapist with thousands of hours of practice and deep insight into the human condition could possible\y hope to answer.

Fire 05-31-2012 09:39 AM

I plan to take 2 pairs of reg running shoes, a pair of nomex driving shoes for those runs on the dragon, and maybe a pair of dress shoes if there is a dress up dinner.

No dress up dinner.

happytheman 05-31-2012 09:41 AM

Morning all! :hello: Work is once more getting in the way of more important things, like trolling this thread and posting.

Scheduling spacer installs with my tech, and hopefully getting to the bottom of the popping noises being emitted on shutdown and sometimes at idle. :(

Got coffee?

I think you are paranoid. That is my non-professional opinion. Just remember that you are not paranoid if people are following you. Those cycling glasses with mirrors can be used to check if somebody is following u. :stirthepot:

When everyone really is out to get you, paranoia is just good thinking. :icon17:

Fire 05-31-2012 09:44 AM

hey there, pint! :hello: while the post-MAF is an easy install, it can be somewhat tricky if you've not done it before. also you need to go back and re-tighten the clamps several times as they have a tendency to back out while breaking in.

when i did the HPS tubes, i removed the front strutbar (triangular shaped). not sure about the Z1 tubes, but on the HPS tubes i had to do some trimming to correct the length and also make little notches for the orientation keys that are on the stock airbox. not a big deal, but i like my installation to be perfect. :p basically the stock intake system is very good already, why make it worse using some misc aftermarket bits installed sub-par, right?

as for the sensor themselves, just dont touch the metal portion. place them on a safe clean table/work bench while you're working on your car. you will need some tools to do this install. sockets, ratchet, knife, fork, spoon, etc. :p

Fire 05-31-2012 10:04 AM

Morning guys. I make fresh coffee using the coffee bags. Like tea but are coffee. Maxwellhouse is what I have now. Folgers makes them too.

Fire 05-31-2012 10:05 AM

I'm trying to see if my family can help me do it. How am I supposed to learn without guidance?
