You're giving up already? Really? I think perhaps if you have someone there, but you do the work you will feel more confident. I know you've got a lot of mechanically inclined fambly members...perhaps they can supervise over a case of beer or something.

That's actually what I'm hoping for. In negotiations with my uncle to help me.

kenchan 05-31-2012 01:44 PM

so after editing on imovie i realized how easy it is to import audio into the video. i also played with several mics to see how well i can 'improve' the sound over the built-in mic of the gopro.

the mic input regardless of which mic you use (internal or external) on the Hero2 sucks. it has a bad ringing high-pitched noise floor that apparently gopro does not know how to get rid of. for external mic, input level is too low, SNR is crap unless i increase gain using pre-amp or place mic next to something super loud like a muffler.

so, im going to begin using my portable tascam digital recorder and sync it on imovie for short clips. :)

I need a nap after reading that. :icon14:

Got coffee?

Good morning Brantly :hello:
I'm just getting to my coffee now. Earlier than yesterday, but later than I like.

So, I went to the big city to self clear my body kit at customs. Then I delivered the proper paper work back to the shipping company. I could have picked up the parts then and there but thout it would be better for them to deliver them for me. The parts should be in my garage by noon tomorrow.

While I was in the big city I went to my chiropractor. He was able to squeeze me in and have a look at my back. Apparently two of my ribs had popped out. I'm all fixed up now. A little sore, but doing better.

I might start removing body panels tonight after Mini GaleForce goes to sleep. We'll see.

LunaZ 05-31-2012 02:15 PM

Washed it and put it away for the weekend.
Next stop, Orlando. The road crew is already there building our stage:

Thanks, Mr. onzedge!
I'm really pumped for this show. In addition to the multiple stages we're presenting/demoing on, I got a standing O from VP's during our MC training test, so I am ready to rock the mic this weekend!

4, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, 13 apply for dis-assembly... then reverse the procedure.
All the extra stuff doesn't apply to you, pint.

For contrast, I went to my barber today. One of two older Italian guys both named Mario. Yes really. They also do shaves with a straight razor, aaahhhh, feels so good.

Its a lost art, but it's making a comeback.
TIGI is currently working with Oster and Andis do bring our own clipper to market and we're in the beginning stages of bringing barber eduction and culture into our academies.

I've considered opening a highend barber shop in the small town I live in. I would need to find skilled people to do the cutting/shaving. There is a lot of money in this little town and people here like to spend it on niche products and services. I think a specialized barber shop would do well, but what do I know.

LunaZ 05-31-2012 05:43 PM

Where in Ontario? I have a good friend in Ottawa who's involved in our new barbering program. He might be someone to visit if you're serious..

m4a1mustang 05-31-2012 05:47 PM

I won't let anyone shave me with a razor. The whole time I'd be freaking out thinking they are scheming to kill me.
