Morning guys. Had a very long night and now debating whether or not to actually go in to work. Here are some pics from last night, but I really want to see how it looks in the sun. :excited:

Turns out there is a rather large ding where the paint went down and it now shows like a sore thumb. He offered to fix it but since I might be upgrading to a kit at some point, I said fvck it. You can only notice it from just the right angles. Also, the spot under the fog light was missed and I wasn't able to get a pic of it after it was corrected. I'm happy with it for now. :)

Mr.kenchan, looks like the Roadster2 is the way to go, speaking of In-Car speakerphone, you may also consider the Blueant S4, I personally don't use speaker phone because I am driving a roadster, but I use a bluetooth headset, and so far I am on my 4th Blueant and they are so far so good, the noise cancellation performance is excellent and I would suggest you look into that too.

Just checking in. Taking a Break from correcting the Z. I was hoping I could get away with a one step but my PO106FA just isn't enough to meet my standards. Looks like a two step will work. Did a test spot with D300 on a MF cutting pad, followed up with the PO106FA on an Über green pad, this is the  combo.

Have a great day guys, I'll be in the garage if you need me. :bowrofl:

You can try 99% alcohol, look it up in the pharmacy department, or nail polish remover.

Quick post before I have to get off the computer. Just got to my fiance's house with my Z. beautiful day, but I'm not sure if any of you remember me talking about this problem a few months ago...

I'm sitting waiting at a light, car in neutral. Lights about to change, I clutch in, put in first. Car begins to rev to 5k RPMS without touching gas pedal. Stays there revving. I put my car into neutral release the clutch, still revving... clutch in a few times. Still revving, turn off the car, turn back on(while still in traffic), still revving. Finally after I lift my foot off the break pedal it stops revving. Keep in mind it didn't start till the initial clutch in and then didn't stop until my foot was off the break. My foot was no where near the gas and my mats don't even touch the gas pedal. I have to bring it into nissan to get it checked out.

Have you tried it with the SRM off??

It's not something that I can recreate as it's happens randomly. It probably won't happen with SRM off(only assuming). but regardless it's not acceptable even if it just happens with SRM on.

That sounds like it should work. Good luck Pint. Sorry to hear about the paint.

Nick, Ive never heard of that before. It sucks when you have something intermittent like that because it makes it so hard to troubleshoot. :ugh2:

Mr. brucelidat, it is a satin black. Here are some pictures with sunlight! Please excuse the dead bugs on the front end, haven't had a chance to clean her up.

Give it a try by driving with the SRM off and see will that happen, if it doesn't happen then probably it's a glitch within the SRM program.

hummm...that is weird indeed. at least you have a MT where you can control the engagement. :) i saw a vid of a hyundai that crashed into another car after blowing through 2 traffic signals in downtown korea due to sudden acceleration. hope they recall all the hyundai's before someone dies.

Hmm...

Maybe I wrote myself a little script that monitors entries in the forum. Maybe that little script looks for various character strings in new posts -- character strings like "Koni", "Michelin", "PSS" or "boobs". Maybe that little script has a simple algorithm that will trigger an SMS to my phone and an IM to my messenger account when it finds these user-defined strings.

Then again, maybe not.

It's really only a little voice in my head that tells me someone has posted something cool/excellent.

:icon17:

happytheman 05-19-2012 06:44 PM

Youre certifiably crazy don't you know, and I'm on board with that!
