Yeah, I have too many numbers in my head today. It's 255/40/19. Now I have to call and make sure that's what I actually ordered. :ugh2:

hummm...wat to do with the stock helper spring... :icon17:

thanks. hey, does cosworth actually make those filters per their specs or is that a rebadge from someone else? not that im getting a pair.

mobil1 is good stuff for newer engines imho. been using it for like the last 10yrs or more. ive looked at purple power and redline, but for my driving mobil1 is sufficient. if i do MT fluid change though (on my G), im going to use redline.

Pretty sure it's a re-badge. When I called them, they weren't even able to tell me the info on the sheet included with the filter. Me thinks they don't know much about them.

They don't even come with stickers.

Koni's next week. I am burning a PTO day to get it done. The Juke takes priority tomorrow for two reasons:

1. Immediate gratification

2. Since the Echo died, my wife has been driving our 1984 F-150 that gets 10 MPG and has a certain way it likes to be handled in the mornings when cold that makes it less than user-friendly.

3. Immediate gratification

Oops, that's three things on the list -- you get the picture.

The Koni install has met one roadblock after another, but I am determined to get them on.

I apologise for the constant bother about the Koni's. Im dying to get mine on and am trying to live vicariously thru you.

I was just busting your chops and having a bit of amusement. I am going to beat you on the install as Monday is the day unless something drastic changes. I will fully report back waht they are like.

I fell really bad. I have had these Konis for more than a month, got myself and everyone all excited and then it was one thing after another that has kept me from getting them installed. I am hoping that the stars do not align and conspire against my plan for completion this monday morning.

Took me and my wife to dinner after going to my work to remove the freon from my a/c and then come back and set it up on jack stands.

GaleForce 03-09-2012 09:24 PM

I took the cover off, installed a Carbon Signal Spec-T spoiler, and let my 2 year old sit behind the wheel in Daddy's vroom vroom car. He was in heaven. lol

Now I need to put a few miles on it, then install my Whitelines.

Nick911sc 03-09-2012 09:35 PM

Let me know how you like those whitelines, they're on my list eventually! haha

Did you bother getting endlinks?

not bad, got a lot done in prep for tomorrow's drive.

i guess im kinda glad my wife didn't find the dot3 today as i was inspecting my extractor and mityvac replenish bottle and found that the valve o-ring has disintegrated inside... :ugh2: ordered up a replacement valve and wont be here for probably a week. i guess, just in time for next weekend. lol :icon17:

if i had the dot3, i wouldve probably opened the bottle then took a quick peek inside the valve to connect and :eekdance:

Yep, I did get the end links. I hear good things about Whiteline, I'm excited to feel the difference. I'll do a write-up with pictures after I install them.

waaaasabi 03-09-2012 10:37 PM

Got harassed by a cop while making a U-turn on a street in D.C.; he later gave me **** when I was parking down the block. Guess I got the full minority in D.C. experience now.

speaking of endlinks my G's rear endlinks finally gave out (2nd factory set) so got a pair of powergrids on order. :p i've had powergrids on the front for 25k miles with no issue. hope they start making them for the 370Z's...

ZForce 03-10-2012 02:41 AM

Whitelines, heard good things about them. Will need to check into the end links and brush up on them. Any threads on them? Basic 101 threads.

Good evening all, or is it morning (moaning) haha.

I am back....sorta. Skimming the headlines only.....posting one liners here and there. All is good in the house for those keeping up with ZForce Times.

The bro has an extended warranty if you catch my drift. Life is Good!

I have not been keeping up with this thread and of course what that means after awhile I stop receiving em feeds. Any new great mods on the market I should be aware of?

The PG caught the notorious CEL, same as the bro's a few months back. Engine idle stays around 1k-1250k and knocks a lot under light acceleration. It will probably be the same issue that I wrote up awhile back. Has anybody else had these symptoms? Probably have to break down and start a thread after this if not already documented. Turned out on the bros car to be an engine wall ground terminal that was rusted causing the ecu to act up. Will see tomorrow after a trip down dealer lane.

Other than that, will be waiting for delivery of washer/dryer tomorrow morning, have some under the counter appliances to install. Need some suggestions for the bro's b-day this Thursday 3/15.

Off to Mr. onzedge' house on Sunday for a look into the whirling sound coming from the oil cooler install on the bros car.

Happy Saturday to the Z community!!

kenchan 03-10-2012 07:14 AM

Hi zforce! Glad to hear your bro is doing well.

Hope you find the solution to the Z issues noted above.

Morning everyone!

I'm off to my first drive in 45. :p. Ordered up a new impact 18v milwaukee last night along with full impact set for 3/8 drive. Got tired of chunky 1/2 corded or breaker bar to do clumsy smaller projects.

What made you go with whitelines? I can't decide between eibach and whiteline.

and does someone have the specs on the whitelines (how much stiffer than stock at each setting)

:hello: Happy Juke Day.

Quick question regarding the painting of my StopTechs. Im masking them off and I know that I left a bigger section than needed exposed for painting. The first time I drive it the pads should take the excess off without any negative side effects correct?? Im using high temp rotor/caliper paint.

I picked up a package for my other hobby. The one in the middle is my new one (new to me, bought it used with a ton of spare parts on another forum). For anyone that is in the hobby as well; from left to right: Team Associated TC6 FT, Corally 10SL WGT, Team Losi XXX-SCT. I have a fourth but since it is being repaired I decided not to include it in the picture
