And my dealer is going to replace the rag-top, it is because the windows of both door do not drop forward enough thus the edge of the glass is rubbing the canvas every time the door is being opened and closed and eventually ripped the canvas.

The manager told me the canvas has arrived :tup: And he might want me to drop off the car to him next Tue or Wed depends on the weather and it takes about 3 days to get the job done.

If I want to install the spacers I can go to my mechanic on Monday morning to get it done, but thinking about most likely I will not have the Z for those couple days after... I think I might want to hold on the spacers for now. Plus, my mechanic is going to receive the spoiler soon :tup:

yah, im not sure if i want to drive my Z in the wet either... the time and work it takes me to clean the car to where she is today kinda turns me off getting her dirtied up.

good to hear your canvas is going to be replaced under warranty. i read a lot of posts about this in the roadster section. :( yah, i would also wait on the spacers if your dealer is going to need the car for a couple of days. not sure why it would take 3 days... does it require glue or paint to dry?? :confused:

going back to the torque on the t-bolts for the plastic pipe air box side.... HPS noted to use 10-15inches/lbs. so that's about what i used. :p it's just enough so that the silicon doesn't rotate by hand.

anyone use this wera 1/4" ratchet? ive used a lot of fine wera hex wrenches and they were good (RC). most of my tools are Facom. i want to replace a tawanese tiny 1/4" ive been using for the last 4yrs.

**UPDATE** Just got off the phone w my dealer. They feel something wrong with my trans to quote him. They are currently on the phone with Nissan to see what action will be taken :tup:

Fingers crossed!! Do you think its something that would be resolved before ZDAYZ? I have no clue how long this could take.

If Nissan gave them authorization to replace the trans within the next week or so I'd imagine it would be done in time. I don't think the turnaround is too long.

Here's hoping for a new tranny (transmission, not transsexual or transvestite)
