I have never personally run them but they are supposed to pretty much be the best. Word is they are magic when paired with some Swifts. They are adjustable too, which is a plus. I look forward to finding out what all the hype is about myself.

lol. No, still debating on whether to go koni yellows/swift spec R or just say fvck it and spring (:icon17:) for the JRZ setup.

These 4 boxes all contained pretty 19" forged alluminum objects from Rays.

Yep, there are pretty much the highest quality performance struts you can get in nearly every application they are offered for. I had them on my last car and when matched with Koni springs, transformed my car.

No one has actually been able to review them yet, but I have a good feeling that matching the best performance struts with the best performance springs available for the Z will be a great combination.

Just took a quick spin to the grocery store, tried a new mounting location for the GoPro but I will try to crop the video a bit next time. Good parts are at 4:40, 6:20, and 7:00.

You know, this has me worried. I too have a very short commute to work (even less time than you do) and it worries me in regards to my oil temperature. I do let the car warm up for a few minutes and then drive calm while the coolant temp goes up. It hits full operating coolant temp as i'm pulling into my job's parking lot, but the oil temp gauge hasn't even moved yet. Anyone know long term affects of this?

mrcoolguyface 01-17-2012 08:36 AM

Im guessing for such a short commute, like myself, you aren't racing or anything. I tend to drive very passively so early in the AM anyway. I dont think that doing this has any long term affects at all. I did a quick google search and couldn't really find anything definitively on this matter. A.) I use synthetic, and B.) I usually do, at least a 5 minute warmup (longer if its in the 20's and below)

I had my Maxima since 02 and just got rid of it a few months ago, and never had one issue with the engine, and followed the same way of thinking as far as cold weather goes. I wouldn't worry. Some people at work, get in their car, start it up, and throw it in drive immediately.. Im guessing they will have issues lol.

My personal preference was the ARK Grips due to price, looks, and sound. Mind, the F.I. sure do look and sound good too, but the price of the ARK's at the time couldn't be beat. The CBE poll shows that most prefer the F.I. CBE.

SPOHN 01-17-2012 04:18 PM

Been calling around all day for quotes. I'm about to make several big purchases. What could they be? It's track related.

370ZilverZ 01-17-2012 05:53 PM

I'm staring at these Koni's that are just begging me to install them. I need Fedex to bring me my compressors already. UPS was on top of their shizzle today, delivering my torque wrench, breaker bar and socket set before 5pm. What the deuce, Fedex?
