Thinking about either a spoiler or a Top Speed CBE......

Nick911sc 03-06-2012 06:30 PM

idk what you guys are talking about, that exhaust I got in october and the shift knob I just recently got were absolutely christmas gifts! :)

kenchan 03-06-2012 06:31 PM

Mr.alcheng - I would do the exhaust first. :)

This is what I've been thinking these couple days... but today I found this thread!!

And the spoiler is just growing so much on me, and I PM the member, rcn, he told me the manufacture matches the color exactly the same as OEM with the powder coating.

I start to struggle between the two, eventually I know I will have both of them done... the look with the spoiler in the summer is just irresistible... :yum:

Without a doubt. I want the Aero Jacket Type III spoiler pretty bad but its the very last part Im probably gonna put on my car. PERFORMANCE FIRST! Thats my thinking:tup:

Speaking of performance, got back a little while ago from "motoring" my Z. She felt great:happydance:

Since I have the intake done already.... and the Top Speed is more for the sound (Mid-Pipe+Muffler).....

Should make up my mind very soon...... :excited:

I do like that spoiler Alcheng:tup: Looks very stock but more aggressive. Still I suggest CBE first. Looks are cool but performance is more fun:icon17: Plus a CBE will make stepping on the gas THAT much more rewarding:driving:

I called my mechanic today to see if he can get me a price on the CBE, then I will figure out which way.. but yes, both are attractive :excited:

I truly feel bad for you fellows that have to garage your Z for the winter! However, they say absence makes the heart grow fonder. Is it the truth? :)

I'm afraid if I do Tubes + Drop ins I'm just going to want to do long tube intakes later on or something. I'm too OCD about everything in life

Be totally honest with me Kenchan, do you feel any difference with the hps + dropins?

i went from R2C to this setup so i can't remember wat stock felt like. the R2C had better throttle response but my current setup is A LOT quieter and smoother sounding which i likes. :p

Nick911sc 03-06-2012 08:58 PM

So I'd assume no gains you can feel or hear though. But again you don't remember stock.

yah, i dont remember wat stock felt like so i can't really say. also if you drive like a grandma your ecu will adapt to the fuel economy mode so your gains might not be much.

and my 4-5lbs lighter per corner wheel/tire setup vs stock creates bias too so i can't tell the intake side vs stock either... ive not driven a stock Z since 2yrs ago. :icon17:

Nick911sc 03-06-2012 09:04 PM

I'm afraid if I do post-maf I'll want to do Gen 3's or something. I refuse to do a mod if I have any thought I might want to change it later. lol

Unless you wanna trade your tubes for a mint condition Celestion V30 16 ohm speaker I have :p

hahaha, maybe mr.onzedge's son can use on his marshall amp. :icon17:

Nick911sc 03-06-2012 09:10 PM

Well... if he can, I'm really trying to get rid of it LOL

Nick911sc 03-06-2012 09:13 PM

If I spent as much money on my Z as I did on guitar as a teenager I'd have a twin turbo setup lol
