just installed gtspec 4 point. Will install the 2 point when I install the KW coilovers. Couldn't find my jack and jack stands! I had to use the crappy jack in the spare so it took forever to do!

this is all I got. Very easy to install if you don't use the crappy jack. You can see it back there on the left. The bar is hanging from the 2 furthers bolts, I bough this 2nd hand so the 2 new front bolts didn't come with them.

FYI The size is M12 x 1.25 thread pitch. The length I needed they didn't sell so I used 2 washers and 1 locking washer with some blue lock tite.

Yep. But In CF

martin82 01-22-2012 09:06 PM

hahah you can't see it on the pic, but I put 2 bricks under the car in case it fell over! You should see how I installed gen 3 intakes, I drove up a few bricks slowly to get just enough height to get under the bumper to remove it! I'll be ordering a new jack/stand since I couldn't find them today.

happytheman 01-22-2012 09:19 PM

/\ Wow, but the Cajones!

wow... you have balls or no brains, which is it? :icon17: ;) usually i put my wheels under the car on both sides when im completely under it...even with jackstands and all. i like to have redundancy. :)

HAHAH, no it was safe, no worries. Didn't need to remove the tires so didn't want extra work. I put 2 bricks under the tire when jacked up, would give me just enough space if car fell down!

I actually had an SUV come down on me and I always have the tire under the car as well, saved my life! I was cutting rear control arms to replace to polybushings.

Last few errands before spending 30 days in the field, washed, and covered the Z. Pics in the nismo thread.

I took the Z in to the dealer to get my back-up mirror cam installed, but they turned me away until Wednesday. Does that qualify?:stirthepot:

plumber78 01-23-2012 04:16 PM

Washed the car inside and out. Took the wheels off and cleaned them, the wheel wells, brakes, and suspension. Then put her on wheel dollies and spun her out of the way for the winter :( ...I hate winter.

Now I have room to get the wife's SUV into the nice warm garage instead of in the snow :)

I am considering these horsepower mods -- it apparently works for hondas, why not Z's?
