Hmmm,

RS = rally sport,

or

RS = really sweet

:confused:

ZMan8 03-25-2012 11:08 PM

-Racing Spirit-

He got the idea from a project Nissan did in japan with the "380Z RS" which was a 350z Nismo that had 3.8 liters. Basically they took the nismo 350z and made it even better/faster. i think he is applying the concept to his own modding and using it for inspiration

happytheman 03-25-2012 11:13 PM

Hmm, interesting. I'm sad to say the first thing that came to mind was Acura Integra RS. :ugh2:

Well I took a quick moment to snap a pic of the freshly washed azz of my Z this morning, and thought you all could appreciate it here:

I didn't know there was an integra RS, but I don't know almost anything about hondas/acuras. I think I'm a Nissan fanboy....:ugh2:
I was raised on Nissans only (while growing up my parents had Pathfinder, Maxima, 02 Altima, 05 Altima, Murano, Rogue and I have had an Altima and Now a Z) First non Nissan in my family was my scion.

Nice shot by the way!

Whoa! :eek: I thought everyone knew about the RS! :wtf2:

It's all good man, can't expect everyone to know about 'em! :) Thanks for the compliment!

Nice & Clean!! :tup: :tup:

If I remember correctly, the RS is the base model of Integra, one up LS, then GS, later on they added the GS-R which comes with V-TEC 1.7L produce 170hp. Very nice car at that time.

What rear spoiler is that? Looks exactly like the Nismo. I need this.

happytheman 03-26-2012 06:38 AM

I'm pretty sure that's the Evo-R Highwing. Its also made by Seibon, but there's is more like the OEM Nismo wing, as it doesn't have the center support piece.

Mr.kenchan, you mean LaFemmeFeu or Mr.Fire(man) ?? :icon18:

BTW, my post has discreetly passed 1000 without letting me know last night!!! :rolleyes:

My life revolves around the win-win scenario. It is much easier than the win-lose-win-lose-lose type I used to live by.

That sounds like a good approach.

This wheel spacer discussion has me thinking and worried now. I have H&R stud replacement on the front, but Ichiba non-stud replacement on the rear. Should I be concerned? Should I spend the rest ot the week fretting and obsessing, only to purchase stud-replacements for the rear?

Mr.onzedge, not to stir things around, but if it makes you feel better/safer to change it, plus the reasonable amount of money for a good-brand, H&R/Eibach, is only around $140ish.

Why not doing it?? ;)

It's like I say, if you have time to do something wrong, then you have the time to do it right, may as well do it right the first time. :tup:

mr.onzedge - i wouldn't worry. i suppose if you start sensing vibration through your steering wheel it might be time to replace the spacer on the front. as for the rear, probably fine and infact 'better' to have the ichibas/Kic's since the centering ring has some room to move vs the single-molded hubcentric spacers by H&R/Eibach when using your stock 19's. :)
