Who's 'you guys'? Shooting at a fleeing vehicle, even after an accident, is a pretty big felony no-no everywhere around the US that I've looked.

Oh, and right, as soon as the car is broken in, everyone should always be a dot in the rear view mirror. Got it.

Grow up

Unfortunately that’s a common misconception people from the UK have about the US. I’m from the UK and now live in Dallas, no matter what the papers say back there or what you think, no, that is not how it is in reality.
Bit of a silly thing to say really.

I did somewhat expect this kind of reaction. Maybe i explained it badly. The reason I instinctively left the scene was to try and catch up and get a plate from the guy. My whole rear end was ****** so i didnt know i had a flat tire until I got home, The car drove but theres so much wrong I couldnt make out flat tire, or plastic blocking the wheel in the wheel well, or anything really, because it felt like... I had just gone backwards at 40mph into a tree. Anyway, as soon as i was hit I did a 180 into the median so by the time I could see or drive he was long gone I had no chance at all to see him. And the visibility wasnt too bad but not amazing, it was dark and raining but i could have seen him had I had the chance. Yes i know it was stupid to leave the scene i've said that but as i've said also I was very much in shock and not thinking straight. No contraband to hide or DUI, anything like that, just very stupid judgement. Today I did file a report and actually got a fine for leaving the scene which i did expect. Pics coming as soon as i get home. Hope this clears some of the questions up.

Dinoj, we've all done stupid stuff. The important thing is that you weren't hurt. The car is repairable, and if not, replaceable. You aren't!! Hope you can get the car repaired and back on the road soon.
