Don't do headers. Total waste of time and money. Intakes, test pipes or HFC's, and exhaust. Do you have the sport package?

A good rule of thumb is start with the suspension, brakes and then power IMO.

I can't argue with Spohn about putting some money into handling mods. But I would recommend a CBE at some point in the near future. It makes a world of difference in terms of sound and performance.

Spend some time over in the Intake/Exhaust section of the Tech Area. After you read all the info over there your head will spin (at first). But you'll find everything you need to make a choice about intake and exhaust that will be right for you.

Step One: Drive the car for a bit.
Step Two: Do some reading of the various sections of the forum.

You'll know where you want to start without us telling you.
Some seat time and research may tell you you want a louder car... or maybe a quieter car. Maybe you'll want tint and carbon fiber goodies. Maybe you'll want to lower the car or get bigger wheels and tires. Maybe you'll find the the car is too slow for you and you want to add forced induction or do the Mustang 5.0 mod.
Hell, you may even want to upgrade to a larger windshield washer fluid tank.
Everyone's personal taste is different and that determines how they mod their car.

Alice asked the Cheshire Cat, who was sitting in a tree, "What road do I take?"
The cat asked, "Where do you want to go?"
"I don't know," Alice answered.
"Then," said the cat," it really doesn't matter, does it?"

why is headers a waste of time?
i was considering the FI long tube headers that take out the need for test pipes/hfc

I've got Stillen G3 intakes, muffler delete pipes and a stainless y pipe.

All of the mods are well under $1000 and it really has helped liven the car up.

I'll be replacing with a full exhaust soon... as soon as I can find one that I like.

I actually lowered the car and put a front lip on it the first week I bought it.

I can't keep anything stock. :-(

It's up to your goals with the car. I did a CBE first, since the sound of the stock exhaust is pretty disappointing.
