Default Car doesn't start

Had my car for little 4 months now and have no mods of any sort, and the past couple of days the car does not start normally. When i press the clutch and hit the start button the car stalls. then i let go of the clutch and press the clutch and ignition button again and stalls another time. on the third time he car actually starts. its been happening on and off for the past few days. it stalls a few times and then starts. I have no idea why it would be doing this. If it keeps up I have to take it to the dealer . Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Hmmm, maybe your clutch is the problem?
What's your battery reading?

Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery for a bit and then connect it. Try to start the car again a few times. If it continues to give you problems, you should go to the dealer.

Bad gas? Did you fill up on regular by mistake or worse yet, pour in some fuel from a 10 year old jerry can....?

Could be a number of things, Bad alternator not charging your battery, bad battery, I don't know if your in the snow but ambient temp, are you using premium gas? , anyways somethings up, I would take it in, try video taping while your starting it because it may not be throwing cels and you want something to show the dealer, cheers

wow quick replies thanks . I was thinking it might be the clutch too cause its been acting quit strange also, when im driving the clutch seems to be barely engaging and im getting some kind of "pop" when i switch gears cant really explain it but it doesnt seem too odd. I will try the disconnecting the battery when i get some time. Have been using premium octane 93 here in northern va and the battery is fully charged. this worries me

You've worn out your clutch...!
It should engage right away!
Hope the dealership fixes the problem under warranty.

i mean it switches gear in a normal amount of time it just doesnt feel right. i guess i have to take it to the dealer. Taking a video would be a good idea. hopefully this problem goes away and can be fixed easily.

It could be bad gas, bad battery, bad satrt switch, or a bad clutch safety switch? Other than that I'm lost.

And like always, is under warranty take it to the dealer.

Could also be a failed Engine temp sensor. When these go bad cold starts are difficult as you describe.

Regardless, sounds like trip to the dealer is the best advice.
