How do you think the 370z is going to stack up vs. the new 1M coupe?

13.2s quarter mile for the 1M? That's not so impressive really. Sure a tune will get some big gains, but I was thinking it would be much quicker than 13.2 in stock form.

The 1-series is only slightly cheaper (within $5k) and slightly lighter (within 175 lbs) than the 3-series. I see no reason why the 1M wouldn't be similarly lined up to the M3.

bmw's have never really been known for 1/4mi. not that they aren't good at it. they're just not made for it.

That 1M is hideous ! It looks like somebody ordered a tack on body parts kit from ebay or was designed by the same style-unconscious dorks that designed the new Mazda 3.

Look at those snowflake rims. Worth 15+ HP gain. 50+ if they are turbo rims.

Wow, I didn't even notice that before making my post. Yep, they made the same blunder as the M3. Seriously, this is the kind of crap I'd expect to see some 19-year-old kid have on a car at Hot Import Nights. Why the hell couldn't they just leave the car alone and put the performance parts in it? This is why it's so hard to make an argument for an M3. The 335i just looks so much better, and since it's turbocharged, you can make huge power out of a reflash.
