There's nothing wrong with driving them in the winter.

I do have a complaint, it has nothing to do with temperature but if we have these fancy transponder keys that know exactly where we are, if their in the car or how far away from it they are. Why don't we have automatic locks?!? That stupid button on the door is awfully cheap, I want my car to lock up as I walk away, and it would be nice if it unlocked when I got back. (although I don't care as much about that part)

Honestly I would rather have manual seats in most cases, but their considered to cheap for good cars these days. Unless the power seats have memory, that's nice, otherwise I could care less
I am partial to roll-up windows, manual seat adjustment, and the like. All this electronic junk is jsut something to break. regarding the seats, it makes them heavier. Regarding the windows, I think it's about break-even. However, you just take the door-panels off and grease things up when a roll-up gives you trouble. When an electric does, you often have to drill holes in the fiberglass door-panel to remove it. There is no way to remove a window-motor from many cars without 1) Drilling the rivets out of the glass (VERY risky to the window) or 2) drilling through door-structure.

The thing is, if Porsche deleted electric windows/seats, they would sell it as an "R" or "RS" model and charge more for it, and people would hoot and holler with joy. If Ford/Nissan/GM did it, and made it standard with the power ameneties a reasonably affordable option, everyone would whine and complain.

I have owned both. Personally, I prefer leather. I don't view it as "dressy" or anything. It's nice. When you floor it and soda shoots out your passenger's nose, it's easier to wipe up. When you get in the car on a hot day and sweat before the car cools off, it doesn't imbed countless days of such's grime/sweat into the seat. Etc.

The thing about cloth is that you can clean them fully, easier. My Dad owns a carpet-cleaning company and cloth interiors can be made like new with very little effort.

I still prefer leather. I like knowing that something was sacrificed for my decadence. :P

I bent over/into a 370Z on the lot and dropped my safety scissors into this. It was rediculous. It took help to get them. They (along with pencil's) constantly fall out of my front scrub pocket and I hate it, but I have not found a practical solution to that yet. Will probably buy mechanical pencils and superglue a clip onto the scissors before long. It's getting annoying.
