Think of it this way. There is a reason why Formula One engines only last one race.

While I totally agree with your reasoning, your facts are hinkey. 19 races. 8 allowed engines. Most teams don't use all of the engines.
Maybe the better statement is "there's a reason F1 engines cost as much as they do".
Plus, there are no pedestrians on an F1 track.

Better example would be NASCAR in the late 90s before they outlawed qualifying engines... An engine that would last only two laps.

I was waiting to be corrected

. So let me modify my statement to: "There is a reason F1 engines only last three races."

And I beg to differ about the pedestrians...

You need to turn off VDC and repeat the following:
