Currently at Wicked CAS in Kingston NH getting my new HU and backup cam installed.

Woke up at 5 today, started washing Zena at 5:30.... nothing like peace, quiet, morning dew, a few birds chirping, and me caressing my car. Love it.

Also waxed and detailed her to get ready for a professional photo shoot today, courtesy of my wife's gift for father's day.

woot woot!!!

Ok since the majority of you guys have said Armor all is bad for the dash. what would be my options instead? Ive used armorall all my life and I never had problems. But umm I would like to know what you guys used for a shiny interior. thanks.

SPOHN 06-18-2011 12:03 PM

Picked up hard clutch line from dealer being mine got stripped.

Shiny interior sucks because it reflects sunlight and causes glare. One of the main reasons why I don't like glossy CF inside the car either. Armorall makes your bits look cheap too.

For interiors you can pick up Aerospace303 and use 50/50 with water. It will provide a nice clean semi-matte finish. It will prevent new scratches too. I use Primary Nero which is a more matte version of Aero303.

Indeed I do.

Here's a couple shots I took after the photo session was done, using my own cam...I know I suck.... but...Not as fancy as the tripod and flashes and set up done by the professional photographer... (I won't see proofs online of all she took until a week from now :()

I loved driving her on the grass... you should have seen the people in the park. Probably saying wtf is this dude doing... lol... Luckily though, no rain.

My buddy came by at 7:30 to go for a kick as$ 3 hour ride. I could find a new car relationship after today. The exhaust note is sensational. This is much like the woman I can not afford either. Oh well.

EazyD 06-19-2011 01:07 AM

Got a Kenwood DNX6980 head unit put in with CMOS-300 rear camera. Found out this model head unit doesn't do Bluetooth stereo streaming?? Just phone. How is that not standard on every piece of audio equipment >$50 ?? It was $799 for the HU.

it'll cost you ~$35, 30min of your time, and a lifetime of respect. come on...every guy should know how to change their oil!

In my last car, I changed my oil every single time. I'm sort of against it in this car mainly because it's just new and expensive and I feel that somebody doing it for a premium price feels more right on a premium car. I've done ~20 oil changes in the past, I just choose not to do it on this car. I wonder if any oil change places around here hold pennzoil ultra.
