Questions for you uprevvers...

Does an uprev tune void warranty?

Since I live in a place far far away (star wars song plays now) from any tuned, is it possible to just buy a preprogrammed ecu flash and tune my that way? Btw, mods for me is just an exhaust.

Anytime you tweak the factory ecu you are potentially voiding the warrantee on any and all related parts. That said, I among many others here have UpRev'd our cars w/no ill effects and frankly, if you are going to do alot of mods, then you'll need to tune to make the car safe a/f ratio wise.

If all you have/are doing is a CBE, then absolutely NO need to tune.

Not today, but while I was in Dallas over the weekend, I had the Z detailed. I just can't find time to do it myself anymore, but I found someone as OCD as myself and it's working for me.

Motored out to Shakedown BBQ in Grantville, PA with a six pack of Leinenkugel's in the trunk and enjoyed a few pounds of smokey ribs and brisket.
QD'd off the bugs and put the cover on for the next few days of rain. You know the drill.

My girlfriend *sigh* tried to turn too sharp in the driveway on her Triumph Speed Triple, and tipped it sideways into my Z.

Aside from some nasty bruises on her leg she is ok.

As for the Z, there is a huge dent in the rear quarter and a nice scratch in the side skirt.

I've decided not to park in the driveway anymore. :shakes head:

Red I'm waiting for my mod4cars smart top module it is only a 1 1/2 hour drive away at a UPS terminal but it isn't supposed to get here till Monday.

I'm battling ups. They keep claiming I'm not here when I am...so I'm waitin outside.

I guess they don't feel like carrying my rims to the door.

I had a Fed Ex truck stop in my driveway, the two guys looked through the truck for 15 minutes then left. I got an e-mail saying that I wasn't home to recieve a package. When they delivered the packages the next day they admitted that the package wasn't in the truck the day before. I recieved a bill from them for additional shipping, I didn't pay it and haven't gotten another one.:ugh2:

That's odd. If there was no package to be had.... How would they know you were expecting? Perhaps the box was damaged so they re-boxed it the next day?

Somebody had scanned it at the terminal but didn't put it on the truck. I actually recieved two packages I had been waiting for the next day. I think it was my side blades and rear diffuser from evo-r and and the pro alignment kit from stillen.

Sorry to hear but glad she is ok! Good luck with the fix.

I want one too but not until I get my exhaust. That is my next purchase, I think.

They did this to me at my last place too...So I took a picture of the UPS truck and sent it in. Had a new driver the next day, no issues since....

..of course, 3 months later I move. :facepalm:

I was ill last night from some antiacid side effects. I thought I was going to die. But then I remembered I have to fix the kitchen light sw before it burn down the house so decided to stay. :icon17: went to homedepot to pickup a new sw, new ofla knife, and plasti-dip. :D

I completed my oil pressure/ water temp gauge install. Running good with no leaks. Awesome. Will have pics and review up later. Going to try and do a vid (with my crappy camera) also. today is a busy day for me being I have to cookout for everyone.

Been putting about 400 miles on it (within the 3 days of owning, and actually being able to drive this car). I can't stop driving it around, I'm obsessed.... Keep finding an excuse to go outside, and drive around some more, LOL. Gonna be broke from gas soon
