I just spent the last 1/2 hr looking..and the only thing I found were carbon fiber covers that go over the existing sport spoiler... Sorry dude, but I failed you. :ugh2:

kenchan 06-14-2011 07:56 PM

Yah, haven't seen the FRP version either... since my exterior bits are CF, everything added will be CF. :p

Ah at least it wasn't just me who can't find them anymore.

But yeah, I know I've seen it on here before... the Mines spoiler, but painted to match body color. If only someone can come to my rescue....:ughdance:

So the Mines spoiler just attaches to our sport spoiler? Wow... I definitely need to read up more on this spoiler. Shows you how much I really know about it... lol... I know it looks good, that's about it :) So yeah, Tony, if you are on here, help a brutha out, will ya :)

As far as what I did, Z related, I had errands to run at Target and Walmart, so I bought these out (emptied the racks) last night :) I now have at least one of ALL the nissan/datsun lines (including others not pictured here). If only they made a pearl white 370 :( I might have to spray paint it myself.

Installing the following:

Sony XAV72-BT Headunit
Rearview cam
JL CS-650 Evolution components in the doors
(2) JL 8w3's in the spare tire area
JL HD900/5 to run the system

Subs will be in a custom enclosure. Dynamat will be used throughout. Everything will look stock as I requested. I love my installer because he is meticulous about every job and takes his time. I'm sure he'll throw in some surprises. That's why I said I'm patiently waiting.........

Alchemy 06-15-2011 12:45 PM

Little teaser, have pics once all mounted.

QD'ed her and put the cover on.
Rain the rest of this week and than I'm off to London again. I've hardly driven the car at all this year with all of my travel for work.
Nissan Customer Care just called me to remind me that I'm due for my 22,500 mile service. I laughed and told the lady from India that I only just turned 15,000 miles on my car!

FromG2Z 06-16-2011 07:56 AM

^ funny....

I'm almost a year old, and I have 1300 miles. I wonder when my India call will come in. :)

red6spd 06-16-2011 07:59 AM

Just got her inspected. Passed NY State Inspection with no CATS baby!!!!!! LOL.

i bought Berk Non Resonated.

I'm going to see if i can get the "Demon Bolts" off myself...if not im gonna have to take it to the shop.

it really is such a straight forward install if you can get the bolts off

I did them myself, well with a friend actually. The hardest part was actually getting to the bolts. Once we snaked a frankentool of extentions and u-joints down to the bolts they broke free fairly easy. Basically my buddy laid under the car, we fished the extension thru the engine bay and he held it on from underneath as I broke it free from up top. I did the 'ol steel wool in the o2 bungs to prevent a check engine light but still got one as soon as I started it:(

Yeah, it's pretty easy. I installed my cats last year. I PB blaster onthe bolts. The car sat for 2 hours and then they came off pretty easily. No demon bolt here! I used a breaker bar, 24" of extensions, and a u-joint. Then I had a friend hold a wrench under the car.

That's still a pretty demonic strategy to use on ONE bolt. Lol.

98intrigue 06-16-2011 02:28 PM

^it was used on all the bolts. It took me less than 2 hours to fake off the stock cats and install the Berks.

roll up the steel wool into a tighly rolled ball slightly larger than the size of the O2 bung. guarenteed no CEL!
