:iagree:

If you wrapped/painted/cf the trunk lid and hood it would be easier to pull off.

Just my $.02 worth tho.

That's better than dog poop though:roflpuke2:

Carbon_z 05-12-2011 06:47 AM

True...But poop can be cleaned unless it's diriaha then ur definitely f'ed. Also there's so a reason why I roll up my windows up now. When he was about seven months old, our lawn guy pulls up and my dog got scared. So he tried to climb into my car through the window, using his paws and nails on the paint as support. Likely everything damage wise was taken care of except the indents he left on the interior door panel.....lets just say he didn't get a treat this day either. I was surprised he did it again after I used my angry voice at him last time.

Have you posted that before? I think I remember reading that.

Went to see Fast5......by myself

First time ever hitting the theatre solo, kept waiting for my Porsche buddy to come with but late meetings scheduled and the wife hates theatres...said f it, I'm going

Went to theatre in the heart of downtown near my job, parked right in front which usually I wouldn't but was runing late

Came out at the end and had people all around my car, couple people saying "oh ****, this was in the movie!!" lol.

I felt like Paul Walker getting into that thing...actually since I'm black, guess Tyrese or Ludacris :rofl2:

Was great  had the popcorn all to myself, no need for chatter...so pissed now because of all the movies I've missed out on cause a GF or buddy didn't like/couldn't tag along.

Dunno what I've been scared of for 33 years lol.

Fire 05-12-2011 10:00 AM

Actually I don't think you missed on alot. Most movies aren't worth the ungodly admission price and cost of snacks there. I like my tv with Mike's Hard Lemonade and some mexican food better. Actually I like cruising top down for an hour better than that :tiphat: Oh and the question What kind of car is that at the ice creame shop. Answer One that is faster and better handling than yours. Ooops sorry forgot to ad EH to the end great LOL Welcome neighbor to the north.

It is weird at first but it gets easier. I usually go in the morning during the week and get the place to myself

huh, i didnt look very closely and thought you got a CF spoiler. :D definitely paint it if it's just black...unless you're going to make that into a track car or something with black wheels, etc. (?)

FuszNissan 05-12-2011 11:41 AM

Jumped the car, and fried the ECU

kenchan 05-12-2011 11:58 AM

huh, going to the theater by yourself sounds like fun. actually i think i'll enjoy myself too. unless you're doing kid stuff it's tuff to have a GREAT time while with your kids around. well, that's why i like my Z cause it's my personal space every weekend. :p

anyway as for Z things today, i shipped out my R2C intake to my buyer this am. :)
waiting on other bits to come in today for my Z and my music room... :D

Ken I know exactly what you mean. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE my wife and kid beyond my soul, but sometimes, you just need that little bit of time to yourself, you know? For me, even just 1/2 hour to tinker with this or that in the garage on Zena, or just washing her... that is therapy for me.

I usually get up really early, say 5 or 5:30, and use that time to work on the car.... till about 7ish, when they wake up. Then I also work on the car, late at night, around 9pm or later.... that way I don't lose time with the wife or kid. A lot more work, but hey, just means I have to work harder to enjoy the fruits of life.

c41006 05-12-2011 02:51 PM

just gave her a nice bath

onzedge 05-12-2011 02:59 PM

^^^ A bath is always good for the Z.

Maverick: What’s your problem, Kazanski?

Iceman: You’re everyone’s problem. That’s because every time you go up in the air, you’re unsafe. I don’t like you because you’re dangerous.

 yep exactly. that's a good mentality to have for a healthy family. i pretty much do the same to make time for myself too.

Fire 05-12-2011 04:34 PM

I'd like to do a set of one lug wheels in black. One Lug Wheels - Wheel Styles I think they would look kewl black on black style OLW3 or 4. I like my flat black look. Under stated but has class. The only CF is on my shorty antenna and thats only cause I haven't painted over it. I think CF has run it's course. Just my opinion. I do have a CF hood on my Mitsu Eclipse. Chops Mikes Hard is good goes well with the mexican food. :ughdance:

kenchan 05-12-2011 07:31 PM

How do those wheels secure to the hub?

Woot, finally gotz tracking numbers for all open orders. :D

Westwood 05-12-2011 07:50 PM

Lucky bastards i wish i could just drive around lol

Fire 05-12-2011 08:16 PM

Ken they have a hub like the spacers but instead of 5 studs around the outside they have one large one in the middle. One lug nut with retainer ring. I had a pretty good day today. Started doing some detailing and it started sprinkling so back into the garage. Pulled it out and went to a Cruise Night. Still didn't detail it cause I wasn't sure if it was going to rain but it didn't. Got a few compliments and a trade offer from a guy with a WRX STi. (Didn't take it LOL) Went to an ice cream shop, one with seating outside. While waiting for my order a guy started talking to another guy about my car. The one asked the other if he was selling Nissans at his dealership now. The guy said yes but not that car and the other guy said it was a great looking car and he wished that he could buy one from him. :tiphat: He complimented my car with a super nice 60's Chevy II sitting next to it. The Chevy II had a LS2 Corvette engine in it.:ughdance:

kenchan 05-12-2011 09:32 PM

Fire- thanks for the info. Yah glad you didn't take the sti. Lol... :D

ZForce 05-12-2011 09:35 PM

Brown dropped by my GoPro and goodies to go with it.

Baer383 05-12-2011 09:42 PM

Nothing I only drive it on the weekends.

Ian B 05-12-2011 09:48 PM

Gave shakira a sponge bath from top to bottom, she looked hot!!

Drove my rental car yet again, awaiting for my Z to come back from paint.

Ordered HPS tubes and K&N Drop-ins for when the car gets back.

Got my HID bulbs from DDMTuning.

Researching short shifters and shift knobs..

It's fun yet frustrating learning about a new platform.

LunaZ 05-12-2011 10:32 PM

Uncovered it and took the long way to work this morning.
It was good to be behind the wheel of my Z on some back roads after riding around in cabs and the subway in NYC this week.

98intrigue 05-12-2011 11:50 PM

Drove a boosted Z for the first time

FromG2Z 05-13-2011 12:00 AM

I waxed her last night with Supernatural (now becoming my favorite LSP wax), to get ready for the car show/meet tonight. Surprisingly, I was the only Z there. I did see a couple of vipers and an EVO that was supposedly putting down 700hp to the wheels... :gtfo2:

After the meet, I took some dusk shots.... no tripod.

so this am the contractor came by to pour fresh concrete for my driveway. :excited: one of the guys pounded my front door at 6:30am (i was already up and about) asking me to open the garage.

i was like ha? why do you need my garage door open? guy was like so that his boyz haz room to smooth out the cement, yo. i was like WTF yo, use your longer pole to reach the center, im not opening my garage for them to be swinging around their concrete squeegees on a stick or watever it's called 10inches away from my G and Z. and i know those guys would be smearing their hands and arms on my cars while the mixer poured the concrete. and checking out my girls (no not man boobs, i mean my cars :icon17:)... wtf.

so i told him nicely "guys, i got 2 sports cars in here..." and their leader was like 'oh ok. no issue then.' :icon14:  (please dont confuse the kenchan)

so off they went. looks pretty good. need to let it cure for 4 days. :p

A new driveway sounds cool. Keeping those guys out of the garage is even more so. Have a great day, Mr. Kenchan.

thank you, sir. Mr. onzedge, you too.
