While I was home at lunch today I went out to the garage to compare Nissan "Smoke" paint color against my Platinum Graphite Z to see if would work as a new wheel color. Smoke is very close to the GTR wheel color. I painted it on a flat piece of metal so I could get a good look at it against the car. After comparing Smoke to PG I'm not sure it is dark enough to provide enough contrast.

no z action today. i might do some spot clay in doors tomorrow while it's raining outside. need to rewax the car anyway pretty soon. by rewax i mean Griot's SprayOn Wax. :D i dont usually do the burnishing wax anymore as the spray waxes and QD that i use already have plenty of wax content for my garage queens. :p

I'm waiting for the dealer to call me back so i can go pick my Z up. Theres a little blemish in the paint on the hood so they are repairing it, for free since it was a brand new car. i have a free loaner car which even though its only been a day, i'm ready to ride my bike from now on. 4 door cobalt...they said their car wash is broken so its all muddy and stuff. at least i didn't pay for it. its a nice sunny day today, great for driving the z

Ah. Yes ordered my resonated tt pipes with steel wool insert to make sure the pesky check engine does not come on.

I installed my modded the37z.com decal. Yes photo will be forthcoming. I put it on the small glass wind deflector. Here is the pic of the decal off the car. It does look better on the car.

Bought heat wrap for my exhaust due to rubbing on sub frame.
|
As planned, spot clayed the Z and SprayOn Waxed the entire car, cleaned the glass. Looks perfect. :p
|
Its my day off and I did nothing with it:shakes head: Rain and 50mph wind means no Z.

Dropped my wheels of for a new coat of powder. Small scratch from clipping a curb. Almost had them change color from piano black to an after dark grey.. But decided to keep the black. Oil changed, and washed her up!

Went for sushi and stopped at the farmers market for strawberries.....yummy. Now I am going to give it a quick wash over.

- Installed my Gemini Invidia this morning.... whewwwww what a pain one bolt was :(
- Drove around 40 miles total after the install :) http://www.the370z.com/intake-exhaus...st-review.html |
Had my Fast Intentions exhaust installed friday, drove around yesterday just to listen to it.
My favourite thing to do now is downshift from 3rd to 2nd, and with REvMatch, perfect every time, so evil sounding :) |

Hit some twisties for a little bit.

Installed spacers, H&R stud replacement front and rear. It was easier then I expected it to be. But I have to admit, my new DeWalt cordless impact wrench came in handy!
