If you install the new spring you will change your opinion on your currently deployed clutch feel. I am sure of it.

I pm'd him back and forth yesterday. I told him I would touch base with AK to see what we could work out. We may not be able to do an official GB, but still make something happen. I contacted him first to ensure I didn't step on any toes and now need to discuss some issues with AK. Very nice guy, btw and willing to help out! If you read this es, thanks again!!!

Stopped by my parents place, after work spent about 3 hours cleaning up the car LOL. Nothing blings like a new car. Car looked purple from the sun was cool.

Changed the oil after just hitting 15k and finally got it washed :)

BeachZTT 08-17-2011 08:30 AM

Modification- What did I do with my Z yesterday?

Took the wife out to dinner. We took the "back way" home through the old country roads I used to run as a teenager. The air was filled with the smell of cornfields. Temp- 74! Humidity- non-existent! Skies- clear and glowing orange on the horizon for sunset! Top- DOWN!!! Roads- clear (well, except for one large doe standing in my lane) No worries though, plenty of time to brake and let her scurry off over the roadside ditch.

Anyway, it was quite a spirited drive that my wife (who is the best sport ever, btw) prefaced with "just don't kill us, I have stuff I still want to do." Swift springs rock, the alignment feels perfect, and I love the Hancook V12s! Another successful romp... not tickets and no body damage!

Clutch spring inquiries are ongoing. I will let you all know if I can work something out... or if I can't.

Congrats mjg!

Dembflyr 08-17-2011 08:38 AM

I had no plans to drive my Z today as I only have one day off then back to work tomorrow. However, I have seen three 350's and two 370's already this morning. The universe is trying to tell me something. I am going thru a bit of Z withdrawal because I've not gotten much seat time in the last month. Too busy working on my house.
I think Ill be able to find an hour to disappear. :D

kenchan 08-17-2011 09:41 AM

98- damn, that's a beefy tube and intercooler.

MY car is at the spa today getting the star treatment. Fluff, puff and wind deflector tint. You guys have to stop posting plasti dip posts. I have to do my emblems, door handles and rims. The flat black look is going to be finished. I'm hoping to do everything Fri and let it sit all weekend before peeling off the overspray. I have to work all weekend so it won't be a problem letting it sit. Expect pics on Monday. :worship::worthless::rock:

I actually lived in St Augustine for a bit. Beautiful town!!! My apartment was literally next door to what Ponce deLeon discovered and thought was the fountain of youth. Lol it stunk of rotten eggs cause of the high sulfur content. How he thought drinkin that was the key to eternal youth idk. Had a 84 300zx at the time. Loved to take the drive up the shore to Ponte Vedra. Forget what rd that was.....A1A??

Vegitto-kun 08-17-2011 01:31 PM

went to tire place. got the neova AD08 that I had on the ricey rims put on the stock rims.

back looks so naice though it needs spacers but front uck damn front tires are 235 so the rim sticks out. but meh gonna kill these tires before buying new ones.

ElinFC3 08-17-2011 01:54 PM

Hollywood FL, actually your Z was one of the ones I thought of when I was down there....

I saw a bunch of 350's but no 370's....

I have to say, that "Donk" style makes me want to yack...

Tell me about it, they were all over the place in South Carolina and Georgia. The people who drive them tend to look like they could be using the money they spent on the ridiculous wheels and tires on more important things.

Aw, you thought of me? How sweet, haha.

Yeah, donks are always fun to watch. I recently saw my first Tony the Tiger themed donk.

I need a shift knob that gets too hot to touch in the summer and too cold in the winter. I want third degree burns and to have to worry that I will freeze to is if my hand is moist.

I had a TWM weighted knob and went back to stock -- I suppose I am just used to the feel.
