She has Progressive, and i dropped the Z at the Nissan Dealership this morning. They said it would take about 2 weeks to repair. I post updated after i hear from the adjuster.

BTW. I had just detailed it using Adams Products(AMAZING this stuff is), and installed some Polk db6501s that same day...

:iagree: I guess if you had to get rear ended this is the best way for it to happen. Hopefully you'll have better luck with her than you did with her driving.

SPOHN 05-02-2011 11:58 AM

So did you get some? At least she should give it up on the second date. :icon17:

Astrosfan 05-02-2011 12:16 PM

GM of a local dealer worked it out with the GM of the theater and life was good. I believe there were some 30 Nissan-friendly folks that went for the show, including some 8 or 9 Z34s, a Z33, a G35, a GTR and many more.

Yeah, for what it is. Once the wheels are off again for winter i'll get them all redone before new rubber goes on again.

thats usually the plan. It doesn't take too much to talk them into that. Wonder if she knows of any good thumb location?

Washed and waxed her this weekend... then took the wife to see FF5, then went on a 1-1/2 drive with her and Zena. Nothing like enjoying the 2 ladies in my life ;)

After detailing, I sat back and snapped some shots...

Thanks guys! Not really doctored image... it was taken as a RAW image on my NikonD60. Just cleaned up the image on CaptureNX2 and saved it as a JPEG. Here's a few more... have a thread on the "strictly pearl white" and "media" on this. We had a car meet with a bunch of buddies. Now as for the grass, yeah, all I do is mow. The lawn fertilizer guys take care of the rest. That is funny about the Disney comment.... LOL :icon18:

Hey Red... it's not that hard. I assume you have a nice DSLR camera? Stick with Nikon or Canon ;) After that, for the basics, just set it to auto, then shoot!!! The camera usually comes with the editing software (free), then just load that and shoot in RAW mode. Jpeg is fine too, but RAW has more detail and allows more flexibility in some editing situations. Most of the time, shots look fine as is already, but some require just some minor tweaking to edit minor noise, balancing, tones, etc... but for 80-90% of the shots you will take, the DSLR will look 100% better than a point and shoot.

kenchan 05-02-2011 07:38 PM

I needs to ask santa to bring me a DSLR camera. :D
